I have been coming to Los Pinos for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience until tonight. Menu has changed and I don't think it is for the better. No grapes on Tapas Platter? Really? You are at a winery. Not a good item to take off. The menu seems more limited. But, my main complaint is the service was really bad. Dana, where are you? I think maybe I need to take a break.

2nd time we have stopped had a two meat Sammy was very good. My wife had half a chicken that was good too. Just wish was closer to lake fork or Arlington. Will stop when I'm around

Vaughn's specializes in all-you-can-eat catfish. The location near Lake Bob Sandlin State Park has a view of the lake and the evening sunset from most tables. The sides like coleslaw, pinto beans, hush puppies and pickled green tomatoes that are served with the catfish are all good. Consistently good cornmeal battered catfish. Great place for fried catfish when you are in the area.

The place had great service and the food came quickly. I ordered lunch fajitas and they were at my table very quickly. The waitress was very nice and never let me run out of drink. I would say based on my meal, this is more of a Tex Mex type of place. I would probably stop by again if I passed through again.

Cleaned our plate! Chicken fried steak, mash potatoes and onion rings fantastic! Forgot to take a picture before I ate. A bit pricey 2 meals 23 bucks and the lady at the desk no friendly are my only complaints! Coming back for sure!

As good as most Sonic's. Nothing extra special here. Decent food at a good price and pretty fast. Most Sonic are the same except for the service since they are a chain store.

Parking is average. Property is old but clean. Menu typical with a few descriptive items. Salsas were all mild, no heat or distinctive flavors. Food was fresh and well flavored. Tortillas were a bit hard. Service was mediocre to barely ok. Good value if you can do without service.

It's nice to be able to say good things about a place.
Pizza Inn in Pittsburg is obviously part of a chain....so you know what they're going to offer. My husband likes this particular chain because he thinks the pizza is less greasy than some of their competitors, and they have certain specialty pizzas there that he really likes. We drive probably twice as far to get to this restaurant rather than go to a competitor closer to us.
Now, a chain in a chain, but there is one thing that keeps us coming back to this place: the people. The manager (or maybe owner) is a very friendly, conscientious gentleman who usually makes the round of tables checking to be sure everything is okay. There are also various members of the staff who are exceptionally friendly. Some will even go out of their way to help you.
We have eaten here numerous times, both from the buffet and ordering fresh pizzas. Occasionally the buffet may not have the pizza you want (cheese pizzas seem to go fast because so many kids love them) but you can also ask for what you want and they may can cook it.
I've only had one real problem that I can remember in all the times we've eaten at Pizza Inn, and that was with a to-go order that was not properly filled. Sometimes things like that just happen. Other than that, we've always enjoyed ourselves. The place is often very busy, so apparently many people from the community feel the same way.
One interesting thing about this Pizza Inn is that they have a small room with toys for young children. I'm not sure other Pizza Inns have this, and I often see young children playing in there.

Our favorites here are the fajita tacos and (for him) the camarones a la diabla - although we've never had any entree we didn't enjoy!
It's a cute little neighborhood restaurant with both sit-down service and take-out available, and every time we've been there it's been busy. It's not the fastest kitchen (usually 15 to 20 minutes), but every table gets complimentary chips and salsa while waiting.
This town has several other Mexican restaurants, but only at this one did we notice a good number of Spanish-speaking customers as well as English speakers.
