okay....you HAVE to go here! oh man the food was unique and amazing! The gentleman taking our order was fun to chat with and treated us like family! It's an old gas station and you sit outside to eat. I had a good old fashioned hamburger with all the fixens as well as some spicy french fries. The fries were INCREDIBLE!! Oh, and try the spiced iced tea.....SOOO good! You can tell it's been a family recipe for a long time. Good stuff!

We thought they only had greasy food and fat ice cream at this chain but we were happy to learn it was not the case.
We bought really healthy and yummy smoothies. Mine was with yogurt and my husband's was without yogurt. They are with real fruit, of course and you have many to choose from. It is real good quality and the employees are really nice. They are next to Mc Donalds in Pilot Point.

I saw this little trailer next to a business on my morning commute. I finally stopped and am so glad that I did. I have had a few different lattes at this location and was completely impressed that they have almond milk (sweet and unsweet), soy milk, coconut milk and of course the different variations of regular milk. Now that I have found this little gem, I stop by most mornings.
Cons: They only have one espresso machine, so it takes a little time if you have a large order, but totally worth the wait.
Pros: Supporting local business
Variety of hot/cold coffee, teas and other drinks

We stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful. We had the lasagna with delicious garlic rolls. Will try again when back in the area. Great food and friendly service.

We went to Pilot Point to see Texas Tulips during Spring Break. When it was time for dinner, we stumbled onto the Bear's Den! Delicious, unique pizzas (or you can order the basic pizza) and garden fresh salads. I ordered a chicken raspberry chipotle based pizza! The salad we ordered had a large assortment of toppings. I guess kids eat free on Wednesdays. We had 4 kids who enjoyed their free cheese pizzas! The food exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding! The best part....they have two beautiful (rescued) black bears (Barnaby and Bailey) who dine at 6:30. They are less than 10 feet from the patio tables! Adults and kids were mesmerized as the bears sat at their table and munched on fresh fruits, vegetables, peanuts and meat. There is an old fashioned playground and huge Jenga game for entertaining the kids, too. We enjoyed talking with the owners. They have a fire pit on the back patio and sometimes have special events. A bonus, part of the proceeds from the restaurant are used to help rescue more animals.
It was about an hour drive for me and I plan to go back!

We had trouble ordering because our waiter was trying to convince us to order a specialty dish (more expensive). We were there on a Saturday, so they were not serving lunch specials. My husband ordered a beef enchilada and a crispy taco with beans and rice, and I ordered chicken enchiladas verde. The food was good. The salsa was good. The chips were thick. We just did not feel comfortable here.

I have become a pretty regular diner at Ernesto's, which now has 2 locations in the Pilot Point, Texas area. The food is always consistently good. My 2 favorites are the enchiladas and beef fajita nachos. The 1/2 order of nachos is good for a moderately hungry person without getting too full. The drinks are always good and the staff are GREAT! This is also one of the rare places anymore that still allow inside smoking but the designated section is separated and far enough away from the non - smokers that it doesn't bother anyone. There is usually a little bit of a wait for a table (no more than 20 minutes during peak hours) and they can accommodate large groups of people.

Good fresh prepared food. Chicken fingers were excellent, gravy good, and fries good when hot but quickly cooled and not so good
Next table had onion rings that looked super.
If you don't mind ordering at the counter when you arrive and serving yourself with your drink you will like this place.

My BFF and her husband invited me to this restaurant on Sunday. They said it was a great place for Home Cooking and, good atmosphere.
Well, if you like anything fried, this is your place. I was not impressed with any of the food we ordered except the "fried" catfish. As for the atmosphere, it was great if you watch American Pickers. Lots of Elvis memorabilia too.

This is a awesome watering hole where you can go with friends and feel welcome! Great music and ice cold beer, can't ask for much more. And don't forget to talk to Jay a true Texas bartender.
