We had two different pizzas, one a Margherita and the other a cappricosa. They were both good with a nice thin crust. The service is fast and effecient here and the meal was very reasonably priced..

Had dinner here last night. We sat outside and enjoyed the street scene. Tables are apart enough so you have privacy. You can also sit inside. The menu is comprehensive including a large pizza section. Nice wine list as well. All of our food was prepared fresh, pasta and meat dishes. They give you plenty of time between courses so you don't feel rushed. The service was excellent, very friendly. Just a minutes walk from the main square.

Visited Ristorante Pizzeria Nationale after a lovely day at Isola Bella. Choose the restaurant because it looked nice from the outside. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. There was plenty of staff, actually there was way to many which probably is why the charge you 2 ⬠per person in service. I don't like that! I decide whether the service is worth a tip or not.Anyways, we got seated inside after talking to no less than three waiters. Ordered pizza for our kids and two pasta dishes. The pizza was OK I guess - but the pasta dishes was not worth the money. One person from staff was smoking inside. That's just not okay. And finally a waiter was so busy clearing our table for dishes I had to sent her away twice before we actually finished. We had a meal and hurried on... Not worth my money and definitely not a 2⬠service fee. That's just rude

A lovely family run restaurant tucked away in the back streets of Pallanza. There's certainly no view of the lake but this is made up for by the homely nature of the restaurant. Good choice of well cooked food. I had the minestrone soup followed by sea bass with vegetables, both cooked to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti with clams and shrimps. The panna cotta was up to Master Chef (UK TV programme) standards. Very good choice of reasonably priced wine.A nice touch was the husband and wife owners coming to have a chat with us at the end of the meal. Not fine dining, but a really good meal enjoyed by us both.Very reasonably pricedWould happily return.

We chose the restaurant because of its location near the lake. We were very pleased. The atmosphere is definitely not romantic but we had a nice view. If the weather was better (a little rain) we would have sat outdoors. The service was very good and the Italian dishes we ate were better than most restaurants back home. Service was efficient and friendly and the menu was self-explanatory and written for tourists. It was a fun meal and we were not disappointed.

We have had a few take away pizzas from here in the last couple of weeks. Different toppings but the same really good tasting pizzas. As other reviewers have said, ready in ten minutes, and they are. Excellent value for money too...

This restaurant is on top of a shopping center called Conad. The building looks good, the shops are a bit shabby as the construction was completed when the recession fell. On the second floor with a large bay window there is a restaurant that has a good view over the lake. The food is good and particularly the buffet that they serve for lunch is excellent value. Paella is very good or any rice dishes. As they have a lot of space, there is a risk that you end up eating with big groups of people which happened to us a couple of times. Then obviously the service for a couple is not so good. They are very good with children too, and as there is space, children could be noisy without anyone paying much attention.

Chiuso il Mercoledi,
We arrived late so chose Granoduro as one of the closest restaurants to our hotel (it's just outside the main town with all other restaurants). Delicious ravioli and fritto misto, prompt service and good wine. Shame about the mosquitoes! Pizzas looked delicious even though we didn't try them.

Great food, a fantastic view of the lake, fast service and a great ambiance! Luca, the owner, treats every guest as if he knows them for years and makes sure everyone feels right a home. Definently the best restaurant you can find in feriolo!

What a magical setting looking straight down on the swans paddling Lake Maggiore, and the local church tower of the village of Feriolo di Baveno. Seafood Ravioli, Cesar salad with chicken were delicious. We purposely saved room for dessert, a bigne (cream puff) topped with blackberry coulis, and a fine tiramisu. Prices were very reasonable (4 Euros for glass o house wine and our service was very attentive. (Since we )were there early by Italian standards (7:15) on a Tuesday night, there was no wait for a lakefront table. Waiters spoke some English.)
