First of all, I called to make to make a reservation. The gentleman who answered advised me to just arrive... "we'll take care of you"
So we did....what a mistake!
They sat us in a patio room separate from the dark main dining room where the carpeting is so old, worn out and dirty that you wouldn't catch a roach crawling ! So called over rated "pepper steak" arrived cold. My guests fish was overcooked..crumbling. Very pricey and bland. Really good food is getting harder & harder to find in the U.S.
I would rate this place a big fat "F" to any regular bistro in Paris.
Never again...
It's a shame that the majority of the people in this country have no clue to what fine dining is.

A bakery like similar to this is yet to be created. I actually don't think is possible to even come close.
The guaba and cheese is my favorite, some of my co-workers love the potato balls, chorizo and eggs breakfast sandwich is delicious, plantine balls= rellenitos are also a must.

This is my neighborhood joint if I have visitors coming to town. While technically not 100% authentic experience of a real tapas restaurant vs. the ones in Spain, but the dishes are well executed and service has always been great. They have basic options for good wines and allow BYO wine with and without corkage pending on the day of the week. Highly recommend.

This place will have some dishes you are familiar with and some not so much. It's all good. Clean, good service and a nice outdoor dining patio makes this place a standout in the neighborhood. Try the sweat crepe, it's delicious with the strawberries, bananas, and is it nutella , and whipped cream. mmmm.

It's a take out joint w/booths in the dining area. Burgers are good, one order of fries will feed an army but they're very greasy and not that tasty. The hard part of this establishment is taking the staff who are rude, grumpy, and always act like they're better than you or like they'd rather be somewhere else. Can't stand to deal with people like that. So, I'll leave it...

At 10pm there were quite a few people here. Beautiful sitting area out front with a huge water fountain. Very inviting. A bit messy inside with yelling children. Ordered a citrus green tea frap, which we have ordered at other Starbucks no prob, but it was a prob here, so had to choose a dif item : (. Everyone was friendly.

Had the filet steak and scallops. Very good and large portions. Hard to impossible for 1 person to finish with appetisers and salad. Higher prices but justified. $8 plate splitting charge to keep in mind. Would go back if in the area.

Welcome to California Grill! Located just across the street from Whittier College, California Grill has been serving food up "fresh, fast and fun" for more than a decade. It's our pleasure to provide you with a comfortable, family-oriented atmosphere, great service and food to be enjoyed.
California Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. They serve an excellent breakfast (Belgian waffles) and lunch and dinner are excellent also. Love the California BLT and Charlie Melt. The fries are great! Salads are excellent! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend California Grill.
