Enjoy the best gastronomic experience in the city. Signature cuisine, with Ecuadorian flavors and ingredients.
What and experience. Once you are seated, the chef, Mike Wells (his father is Scottish, so language was not a problem for me) comes to your table with a small taster, and to discuss the menu and his recommendations. I found that something of a nice touch. The quality of the food and its presentation is unbelievable.

I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is amazing Ecuadorian cuisine in a intimate setting. The ambiance was made more so the first evening with a live musician playing soft native guitar music. A soothing escape from the busy streets of the Mariscal. The wait staff was super-attentive without being annoying. We had many other restaurant choices for our second night in Quito but decided to go back to Achiote and had the exact same truly 5-star experience.
