Tried here after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor, never again.Sat down and our drinks order was taken then a lady came to take it again, we explained we had already ordered drinks so she went away then returned to take the drinks order AGAIN, I thought to myself what the hell have we walked in to here but stayed and gave it a try. Drinks and food order taken after a lot of confusion settled down for the poppadoms to appear as they usually do in an Indian restaurant, not here itâs an option on the menu, so we ordered some, not the usual pickle tray that arrived with them but edible all the same. So the food arrives and itâs decent but nothing amazing then half way through meal lights go off, no one comes with a candle or any sort of lamp they just stand over me with a torch on iPhone, I ask for bill as itâs impossible to finish my meal in the dark (or iPhone light) the bill arrives and we pay with cash into the wallet that goes out the sight of the table to be returned with thatâs not enough, ( was more than enough) so without any extra cash on us I pay by card and although I used my pin I was then asked to sign several pieces of their receipts (which I didnât) I was still sat in the dark. NEVER AGAIN, AVOID !

Our friends from the United States had told us this was one of their favorite Patong restaurants and now we understand why. We had a lovely meal at Sultan's and enjoyed our food and the service so much we returned. It's close to the beach and just far enough from Bangla Road for a more tranquil ambiance. We had the Kuzu Pirzola lamb chops and the Turkish salad on our first visit. The meat was tender and grilled to perfection, but not overcooked. The portion was quite ample. The salad ingredients were fresh and served with a vinaigrette dressing on the side. Warm, fresh, Turkish pita bread rounded out the meal. The house red wine was basic, but not memorable, medium bodied and dry. With our second visit, we had the appetizer plate with hummus, eggplant dip, tzatziki, and other spreads that gave us a good range of flavors. Our entrees were Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken from the Indian side of the menu. Both dishes were hearty, tasty and well prepared. It was a delicious meal! The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We thought the prices were quite fair for the quality and service and voted our pleasure through our second visit.

I have been to a lot of countries and tried Indian restaurants but I have never been as satisfied with the food as I was here. Authentic Indian meals with the same taste like back home. Their staff Mr. Mann, miss Aye, miss Puja, miss Thin Thin were helpful, the manager was friendly and specially warm towards my parents. The ambience was good topped with Indian music. Snacks like paapdi chat and samosas were available during dinner time as well! My son was specifically pleased when they played the song of his choice. In the crowded street of patong beach, such a spacious and bright place is a treasure. All in all its a nice and cozy place to go with family.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked to order and not buffet, nice air-conditioned restaurant. We have been staying in Thailand for 10 days and this was our favourite meal of them all- wish we found this restaurant earlier!Nice chat with the owner and his wife who checked if our meals were spicy enough for us and we are definitely going to come back! I like my curries and Highway Curry is 5 minutes from where we were staying so I thought we'd give it a try, not expecting it to be as we discovered. I wanted a starter and like my onion bhaji. I hadn't had one for years so that was ordered. Then my wife ordered a starter. Little did we know that four good size freshly cooked onion bhaji's would arrive and they were really excellent. I've had overcooked greasy fried onion balls before, but this wasn't them. These were perfection personified. Hot, crispy and very tasty. My wife had a hot bread, a roti or nan and good job too. For a main course I had a lamb curry, and asked for spicy. I have no problems with Madras or spicy foods, and this was delicious. Spicy, but not palate destructive. My wife had one of the "sizzling" plates and it too was superb, and very quickly devoured. All in all an excellent choice of venue. Since eating there I have had many friends who are of the same opinion. If you want a very good curry, inexpensive but high quality, Highway Curry is a must. The staff are lovely and helpful with suggestions. Food is hot, fresh, and a lot of it. We took "doggy bags" back for our son.
