Colorful Phuket is a mélange of lifestyles, a place where tranquil monks navigate the same streets as pumped up nightclubbers. The ornate temples and lively cafes of Old Town are prime spots for exploration. Check out the Shrine of the Serene Light and the aromatic Nguan Choon Tong herb shop. Browse and bargain for pretty trinkets at the nearby Thai Amulet Market. Don’t miss an opportunity to take in a performance at the epic Siam Niramit Phuket theater, a true cultural extravaganza.

- Very comfortable SHA+ hotel for budget Sandboxer like me - Ms. Fay the Manager is very responsive, perfect English (of course), making sure you get all your documents well. I directly booked with her without external site - This branch is in a little alley BUT it’s a smack-downtown Phuket Town! - Phuket Walking Street Night Market 2 mins walk. Long streets of Instagramable Sino Portuguese shophouses in Thanon Thalang & Thanon Phang Nga: 2-3 mins walk (literally next junction). Cafes, restaurants, daily shops, all super convenient! - Everything else in Phuket Town is within walking distance. From Michellin Roti Taew Nam, regular local food court (the uncle knew my usual custom fried rice order), to upper end Japanese restaurants for example. - Bed: clean. If you were like me, the bed was the perfect softness/hardness. Something about a renovated historic building too that makes you sleep till noon. - Overall room: clean. Perfectly functioning room. The decorations and classic Sino-Portuguese architecture were just icing on the cake for me :) - With the declining tourism, I was the only guest after my 3rd day there. Enjoyed the quieteness of the town because of this. - Good price for airport transfer as well

It's my second time staying here. The hotel is new, clean and look modern. It has two buildings, both are comfortable and well maintained. Their rooftops are superb. The rooftop of the first building is like a green field to enjoy amazing view including sunrise and sunset while the other, a swimming pool is located which makes me feel like swimming in the air. The room is spacious and furnished with amenities I need including safe to store valuables. Its door is sound proof. The staff made me feel so welcome with their good service-mind and helpful.

I was so happy I did my ASH+ / Sandbox Stay here! CocoRetreat was perfect for me: Really quiet, almost no other guests, and just so peaceful. Lush green gardens, very clean and well maintained. Very big rooms with daily cleaning. Also very very nice that there is a great cafe with a pool just next door in the sister hotel with very good wifi to work from. Food is healthy and tasty and all staff here is really friendly.

I stayed at Six Pack Cottage whilst being in Thailand for a month and apartment from the bed which moved side to side as my partner moved it was a lovely stay. Good value for money, the hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating. Any little thing that came up, no water, internet down, metal poking out of the mattress, red ants in the shower, it was all dealt with quickly and without hesitation or negativity. When we requested to move rooms for the evening, we were put into a more decorative room, no obstacle stopped our enjoyment of being there. The hotel owner was always smiling and receptive. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location, near numerous bars and eateries, and walking distance to the weekend markets, which sells amazing food at amazing prices. To be fair we walked past numerous other modern looking guesthouses, to and from this less than average abode. Firstly, on arrival, at the less than welcoming receptionist, we were ushered within seconds of arrival towards a stiarcase, we had 2 large bags and 2 small/light bags, i took 3 of the bags, my tiny thai girlfriend took another as the rece[tionist lead us up the stairs waiting on us as we struggled with the bags, Not a smile, not an offer of help, nothing except a sullen, hurry up look on her face. Far from a great start, we entered the melting hot room, got handed the key and away she went. Straight away i noticed a hole and a dirty stain on the sheets. I reluctantly returned to the receptionist to explain, after an eye rolling exercise, she came to the room and took a photo, advised us the maid had gone home and it would be fixed the next day, i asked for another room and got the typical thai respnse , oh we are fully booked. Anyway ill wait and see if this gets done. The rooms have the typically tiny bar fridge stacked with all the expensive stuff nobody ever buys, leaving no room for your own items. The tv channels are numerous but hardly any english channels, and half of them dont work anyway. Ironically with a fridge full of drinks for purchase, this place fails to even provide a drinking glass. No drinking facilities whatsoever in fact, not even a kettle? There is one plug beside the one bedside table that you can use to charge stuff. The toilet roll holder came crashing off the wall on our first time of use. The carpet is paper thin and isn't even stuck to the concrete floor, it is seriously raised in some parts causing e genuine tripping hazard. I havent had a shower yet, but it looks less than inviting. On a positive note, the wifi is strong and the air conditioning very good. I am aware this place was cheap, but i at least expect the bare minimum in hospitality and amenities, this hotel has failed on both counts. I wont return, and i am considering getting a refund from expedia, for the next 2 nights i have booked.

Me and my wife stayed two nights att this hotell waiting for my new smoking and my new shirts to be ready. The owner Anthony Khanal and his staff was wonderful and giving us an excellent service. The room was very nice and clean and the staff so nice to us. All together a very nice stay here with wonderful people working here. They made us a very good breakfast every morning and served us very well. Two very satisfied guests Gunnar and Barbro Larsson from Sweden.

We stayed for two nights. The room and the hotel are absolutely clean, well run by the family owners who succeeded in bringing over the chinese family history in all rooms of the hotel. Wonderful experience and a lot of learning about the chinese settlement in Phuket by following pictures, ceramics and furniture in the little family museum on the ground floor. The Woo family owner was taking good care of everyhting we needed. We can recommend the hotel to everyone who likes to have a stay in the old city of Phuket.

This hotel was how to find and was down a Dark Side street which felt unsafe at night. The beds here was sorry hot and uncomfortable you couldn't get any sleep. The rooms and fittings old and the TV doesn't even have one English Channel. Many better options I would not stay here again

We welcome you to this almost secret spot, where nature and contemporary design gathers in balance. In Thai Fern means plant and the garden surrounding our fine retreat is filled with various number of plants, bushes and trees. Offering only nine rooms we hope to keep this resort a quiet place for relaxing, where everyone gets their space sharing the amenities, such as the restaurant, library and pool-area. Also, all guests have free access to our Wi-Fi. Accommodation for long living in Phuket, Thailand. Good Location For Training.
One of the things that I dislike when I travel is hotels exaggerating their facilities, making enticing claims. What I got when I arrived here was exactly what I was expecting. A charming hideaway, tucked away in the non-touristy parts of Phuket, with green surroundings, clean, run by a very nice family.

I stayed in a standard room for 5wks. The room was cleaned twice a week which was sufficient. The price for the room for the 5wks was the cheapest I could find on the Soi. The staff who tended to the grounds greeted me every morning with a smile & a “sawdaee ka”. Anything I requested from reception would immediately be looked after. I asked for a free standing fan as the air con was giving me a sore throat. I went out for the day & when I came back there was a brand new fan in my room. I actually broke said fan & again that day it was replaced for me. I offered to pay for the fan on check out as I had broken it & it was a reasonable sum. The lady Ta at reception was so lovely to me, she also organised my trip to Phi Phi. The wait for my laundry that I left in was a few days so I didn’t leave it in there again. There are lots of places on the Soi that do same day laundry. The lil doggo ‘Tanwa’ in the pic became my best pal for the 5wks. I went from being a non dog lover to completely falling in love with her. She waited at the top of the lane every night to walk me home. The food in the restaurant was lovely, I did get food poising one of the days from eating there but sure it’s Thailand & that can happen anywhere! I would definitely be back to stay here again.
