I will start with the food. I ordered many dishes since I mainly wanted to try the food.Mini beef patties starter was acceptable. The beef was mixed with too much bread crumbs, the seasoning was OK though. The fries were a bit soft and the sauce was a bit watery.The caesar salad ws dressed properly. The grilled chicken was salty.The beef massaman curry was fine. Sweet, but not as sweet as other restaurants make it so it was fine. The beef quality was acceptable.The burger was not OK. The patty was too dry and it looked and tasted like premade.Pizza was below average. Tasteless base and overcooked bottom. Sweet sauce, and the cheee was melted but didnt have any color so it didnt release much flavor.Service was super lovely though, every single server looked at me and served with a smile and they looked happy while doing their job. Prices are not expensive at all and I would recommend this place if you wanna have a normal meal. Because for me the food was so average.I will visit again whenever I wanna have a beer or a drink to relax and be surrounded by some happy faces, but I dont think I will eat again.

Went for a nice meal here while holidaying in Kamala Beach, read a lot of good reviews. Really nice hotel and restaurant, we had the chicken green curry and the slow cooked pork belly. Both meals were of high standard and the service was great however we left after our main course due to the loud rude and arrogant two guys sitting near to us. Cursing and swearing loudly, obviously had too much to drink. Disrespecting the female waitresses but the hotel said nothing to them. Spending money appears to be better than polite custom. Spoilt what could have been a nice evening. Dear Derek M, First of all we wish to thank you for visiting our Silk Restaurant & Bar and praising our services and the great food.However we are saddened to hear that you had an unpleasant experience due to a neighboring table and certainly extend our sincere apologies. The restaurant is situated just off the main road, down an alley. Clean from inside and has a table outside the restaurant too. Ordered fried prawns, yellow chicken curry and pork fried rice. All very tasty and the rice and curry were quite large portions. The yellow chicken curry was mild but also had a hint of chilli and the sauce was amazing. Service was quick and efficient. Price reasonable. Staff spoke good English especially the Sister (Supervising) of the Owner who had spent time in the UK. Restaurant has lots of fans too. Nice experience.
