We came to this local thai food restaurant yesterday, with a great hope for good thai food, as it was recommended to us. Even the phadthai with narrow noodles was untasty . We complain of that, than it was changed with a new phadthai, this time with large noodles, as we asked before. This dish was better, but still regular. The Mango salad was okay, but not as it was recommended. Also the staffed pineapple with rice was very small, without the taste of the pineapple. Etc etc...We canât recommend this restaurant, although it has 24 years of service. Sorry for that.

This is definitely one of our favourite places that we are at in Phuket. The range of dishes is extensive, particularly seafood, and great quality. We shared about six dishes between four of us, which was a real culinary experience and super value for money.

Located just 5 min walk from Jungceylon. Try Tom yum gong whenever visit a new restaurant. We ordered pineapple fried rice, fried prawn, stir fried morning glory and steam lemon fish. Portion size is reasonable. A lot of prawn in Tom yum gong which give us a surprise. Taste of food is good in general except too salty. There are lots of customers from Mainland China and this could be the reason of such âheavyâ taste. From order to serving, we wait abt 10-15min.

Every time my friend come to visit Phuket and they wanna try local food, One Chun will be the first restaurant come up to my mind. It's located at old town which I can walk around after the meal. However, parking space might be a bit hard to find.

My husband and I were staying at Nai Harn hotel and heard about this place. We took a cab there for dinner. It was fun to sit on the floor of a Thai hut and eat next to the water. The service was great and the food was fabulous! We let the waiter choose for us. It was an off the beaten track type of thing we usually talk about doing and don't do. I am glad we went. There was little English spoken here, mostly it is local people. Everything was freshly made to order. We had a vegetable dish with a fish paste dipping sauce that had unusual vegetables in it. We were told it was a traditional Phuket dish. We also had a vegetable dish with egg. It was delicious! There was a cookie at the front counter that is little rolls of coconut milk. Like Poki Rolls. They were great! Lunch might be easier to see everything. I would return for lunch.

More info about the Beach Bar here: There are very few restaurants in the area, and somehow locals and vacationers find this place, but the owners are so nice, and the food is so good, it's worth a mention
Good atmosphere, delicious food and cheap price. We can see the sunset. I love it here and will come back again.

I dropped by on a late afternoon for a beer (cos it was a freaking hot day) and to satisfy my cravings for tom yam goong. Both the beer and the soup made me a lot more comfortable and happy after a flight and a long car ride. The restaurant is very quaint and cosy and cute in its little way. The restaurant owners were friendly and staff were helpful! As far as the tom yam goong was to me, it was authentic and excellent!Thank you very much for your visit and the review in Trip Advisor. We are very happy that you enjoyed staying with us and our always freshly on order prepared dishes. We hope we see us again. Baan Noy Restaurant with staff
