Pretty much your basic Thai cuisine. They get a fourth star for the service: The free shuttle that they run in and around Surin beach was very convenient. They pick you up on the street and drop you back off at the lobby of your hotel. The restaurant service was good and friendly.

We went here today for their Saturday Brunch. We've eaten here when we came last year but hadn't been to the Brunch before. We really enjoyed this brunch, it is a little bit more intimate than your big hotel brunches which was good. The setting of course is great, right next to the beach. There was a good selection of food, not over the top and with a mostly seafood theme which was fine, but there was also rack of lamb available, which by the way was very good. We sampled almost everything from Sushi, fried scallops, Lobster, Iberian Ham, Prawns and various sides. All the food was very good quality, served with both champagne and nice wines. The cheese board was great but if you are going to have it, make sure you share it with someone. As you would expect with the Surin the service was both efficent and very friendly.A really nice afternoon spent here, if I had to make any comment I might suggest making this from 1pm to 4pm instead of 12 to 3pm.I'm not normally a great lover of brunches but because of the setting and the somewhat intimate feel of it we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.Dear Mike,Thank you for joining our monthly Saturday Champagne Brunch and it was a pleasure to have you and your family as our guests. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed the culinary offer as well as the service and your kind comments have been forwarded to all concerned. Welcome to our exquisite and unique dining experience on Bangtao Bay with a 180⢠degree view of the beautiful Andaman sea in Bangtao Beach
Had dinner here with the family, sitting right in the sea wall at high tide. It was spectacular. Watching the sun set and the fisherman out at night. The service and food was excellent. This is a real hidden gem, located just behind the villas of Best Western Premier Bangtao Beach Resort.

Some time since I visited at its old location on Surin Beach when I gave it 5 stars. Visited here midweek in low season that might explain some but not all of why in my opinion nothing like as good as it used to be. Restaurant was empty and lacked any atmosphere. The food was in the main OK but very overpriced. Spending well over 10 dollars each for a very average Gambas and a tiny portion of Maryland crab cakes, 3 tiny cakes (as nice as they were) was a bit over the top in my opinion. For a main my guest chose a special which was a large portion of moules marinere. Was definitely not a large portion in my eyes. I ordered the fish and chips which I had good memories of. Sadly did not live up to my memories fish was thin, dry and lacked any flavour. Costed double what you would pay down the road at Peppers where the fish and chips are exceptional.Dear Junk1eLet's address your problems.Lacked in atmosphere. What can I say, people make atmosphere. It's June, typically the lowest part of slow season. I have a tip for you. Fridays, I will will explain more.Food was ok but overpriced. First of all $11.50 for market sourced, steamed, hand picked crab cakes is not a rip off in my opinion. Actually quite the opposite, it's a bargain. We use fresh, never frozen shrimp for our Gambas which we have sold over 10000 portions since we opened 12 years ago on the beach. Priced at $11, again a very fair markup for a generous amount of fresh shrimp swimming in garlic and chili, slurp it up with some bread....... Fish and chips, even though we use fresh fish from the market, I will agree with you that this is not a strong enough dish for our menu so I removed it. I think our guests will be much more impressed with our other seafood options. Thanks for that advice. Lastly the mussels. Guest what? Yup, live Australian mussels of the highest quality I have found since arriving on this wonderful island. Better than anything local, better than anything European in my opinion. Your feedback got to me a bit so I did up the portion size a bit. I don't like to leave people thinking they haven't got good value. I think value is very important to you therefore I want to suggest our Friday Happy hour. Listen to this every Friday 6-8pm, 80b beers, 150b cocktails, free tapas (yes free!) and a whole lot of locals to mingle with. Come see for yourself. Atmospheric, fun, cheap. Problem solved. Enjoy.

Great restaurant with excellent seafood options, we had a local lobster and a freshly caught snapper. Presentation of the dishes was also outstanding and with a large selection of top wines available, makes this a restaurant not to be missed during your visit to Phuket. Price/Quality ratio is good.

Thai Food Italian Food Pizza Cafe Guest House
We ate here for convienience as it was lashing rain and close to our hotel. I had the lasagne which wasn't great and it was over â¬10 without any salad or fries, so it was expensive. My husband had pizza and it was very oily. We shared a bottle of water as they were not serving alcohol as it was a religious day. Our bill came to 780 batt. Pricey for what we got. Staff were very friendly and efficient, but we wouldn't recommend the Chill house or return.

Loved this place! We stayed in a nearby resort and went here for lunch every day. The staff were very friendly and their customer service was excellent (particularly the female staff member). They looked after us very well with complimentary wine and desserts after us visiting fir a couple of days. It has a super location right in the beach so kids could swim away while myself and my wife enjoyed a glass of wine. Definitely recommend!!It's grateful to see such response after serving our guest. Thanks a lot. We r always trying our best to make time and holidays enjoyable at our place of our valuable guests. Thanks indeed, looking forward to see u again at Golden fish restaurant and bar.

Thai food made with love and locally sourced fresh ingredients means food that is exceptional in taste, whether its a intimate dinner for two or a group
We didn't have a reservation but the service staff were pleasant and found us a table. They were honest and told us they were busy and we may need to wait slightly longer for our food. As it was raining, we decided to wait, and we weren't disappointed by the food. It was well worth the wait. Nice casual ambiance, clean and friendly staff really made it a great dinner choice, a stones throw away from our hotel.

From initial contact (with Lemon) the whole experience was brilliant. We had originally wanted to do 8pm but Lemon suggested that we would miss the sunset and 6pm would be better. How right she was. We decided to hire a skipper (Lim) for the trip - wise move. Not only did Lim navigate to the perfect spot to view the sunset but he also expertly cooked our BBQ meal. We chose one Thai and one classic - you have one choice per person. Lim navigated us back in the dark - something weâd probably not have been capable of given the wine consumption and no sat nav - I canât find my way round our local city without it... There is Bluetooth speaker to use your phone and play your favourite music as you go. All in all thoroughly recommend as a âdifferentâ fun experience that made for a most memorable birthday treat.
