Thailand’s largest island is an international magnet for beach lovers and serious divers, who enthusiastically submerge themselves in the Andaman Sea. Blue lagoons and salmon sunsets make for a dream-like atmosphere, and indeed, a vacation here can feel a bit surreal. Watersports are the most popular activities, though once you’ve had enough sun there’s still plenty to explore at the island’s aquariums, gardens, and Buddhist temples.

300 meters from the airport. Near Naiyang beach
We were amazed with the diversity of hotels & resorts near Phuket Airport. It makes me re-think our decision to pre-pay for our 1 night stay at David Residence before our return flight home the next day. This is a clean but average hotel in every way and our brief stay here was not too memorable. There was only 1 bedsheet covering the bed itself which I thought they could have provided at least another blanket. The shower itself was nice but small. Although the price was reasonable, I thought we could have done better in picking a hotel at Phuket Airport on our final night.

We booked this hotel for our last night in Phuket, since it was very close to the airport, but it ended up easily being our favourite part of Phuket. The staff was very helpful, picked us up from the airport, and gave shuttles to the nai yang beach, which has an excellent night market. Our room faced in towards the pool area, which was a beautiful saltwater pool surrounded by lots of trees - very relaxing environment. Rooms were clean and had a/c.

We stayed for two nights. The room and the hotel are absolutely clean, well run by the family owners who succeeded in bringing over the chinese family history in all rooms of the hotel. Wonderful experience and a lot of learning about the chinese settlement in Phuket by following pictures, ceramics and furniture in the little family museum on the ground floor. The Woo family owner was taking good care of everyhting we needed. We can recommend the hotel to everyone who likes to have a stay in the old city of Phuket.

Two Chefs Inn is located in the heart of Kata Beach. Clean rooms definitely worth every penny! Breakfast was superb because they offer good selection of ala carte breakfast with buffet spread too! Just wow! There are also lots of good shops and restaurant around the area but no need to go far, because they also have a very good and quite popular Resto-bar downstairs with wide range menu from European to Thai cuisines! So if you are looking for cheap but good place with good service, amazing view and delectable food in Kata, think no more! Two Chefs Inn is definitely the place! highly recommended!

- Very comfortable SHA+ hotel for budget Sandboxer like me - Ms. Fay the Manager is very responsive, perfect English (of course), making sure you get all your documents well. I directly booked with her without external site - This branch is in a little alley BUT it’s a smack-downtown Phuket Town! - Phuket Walking Street Night Market 2 mins walk. Long streets of Instagramable Sino Portuguese shophouses in Thanon Thalang & Thanon Phang Nga: 2-3 mins walk (literally next junction). Cafes, restaurants, daily shops, all super convenient! - Everything else in Phuket Town is within walking distance. From Michellin Roti Taew Nam, regular local food court (the uncle knew my usual custom fried rice order), to upper end Japanese restaurants for example. - Bed: clean. If you were like me, the bed was the perfect softness/hardness. Something about a renovated historic building too that makes you sleep till noon. - Overall room: clean. Perfectly functioning room. The decorations and classic Sino-Portuguese architecture were just icing on the cake for me :) - With the declining tourism, I was the only guest after my 3rd day there. Enjoyed the quieteness of the town because of this. - Good price for airport transfer as well

Cozy loft in a quiet place. Perfect to go with your family. The swimming pool it’s located near the beach. The beach bar nearby is very good for dinner. There are also some good restaurants near the location and a 7 eleven store.

Located on the breathtaking southern tip of Phuket. Le Resort is an ideal for relaxing holiday. Just a clear mountain view atmosphere, featuring 54 comfortable modern rooms with balcony, guests can enjoy infinite pool view at Hillside Kitchen & Bar which serve contemporary drinks and fine cuisine. Le Resort caters for the couple, family and group of friends. Le Resort is located close to Naiharn Beach as one of Phuket most beautiful beach fabulous of white sand, clear water, it is a popular choice for families. Only 10 minutes to Phuket's most spectacular sunset view point at Promthep Cape and Rawai Seafood market the best and affordable seafood restaurants and shopping area.
This hotel has one of the friendliest and helpful staff I've ever encountered. They lent me an umbrella, gave me alcohol for a skin break, and helped me print out and photocopy documents. Plus the pool is a perfect temperature and size. The bar and its bartenders (especially Khun Lik) know how to make a really good cocktail. The shuttle bus service went out of its way to accommodate me. And the free use of bicycles was a helpful treat. Good location near many food choices and shops.

I would have liked to rate this place higher but the nasty service really let it down. Positives: lovely room, spotless clean, great location. Negatives: breakfast should have been a choice of continental, American or Asian, however the first morning we were just seated and the manager brought out scrambled eggs, toast and some processed meat. I asked if we could choose continental because I don’t eat meat but she said there is no other choice. Also we chose to extent our stay an extra night and booked it on booking.com. When I went to pay the manager tried to charge me 440 baht but I explained I had booked it for 416. She would not have it and tried to barter me down to 420. I insisted that I had already booked the room for 416 and will only pay that. Eventually she said “fine” and was rude and stroppy, slamming the change on the counter. I was so surprised because she’d been so nice up to then! This just made things so uncomfortable, not good service. Just be honest and treat your guests fairly. After that encounter all contact just felt awkward. No smiles, no chats, ignored us, blatantly talking badly about us in Thai, we felt so unwelcome. We weren’t made breakfast the next day, we came down and there were a few pieces of bread with butter etc left next to a toaster, stuff to make a hot drink and a bit of chopped pineapple. We asked for more bread and if we could have egg again and they just said no. Asking for cutlery and a bowl seemed like too much effort for them. Strange? They really didn’t like us because we didn’t pay that extra 24 baht! I just can’t rate any higher because the overall experience was so unpleasant, you shouldn’t have to feel nervous walking through reception every day and we did, all because of their greed. One other tip: if you want to rent a bike don’t go with their recommendation next door. If you don’t leave your passport they ask for a deposit of 60,000 baht (£1500)!! Couldn’t believe it, you could buy about 5 mopeds for that money. They were a little blunt about it too insisting all shops in the area have the same policy. Instead use ‘cheap as chips’, great friendly service, good bikes and you only leave 3,000 baht deposit and a passport copy only.
