The spacious Kayee Restaurant is the main dining venue at the resort serving breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the infinity pool and picturesque bay. The Southern Thai folk art adds character and charm, creating a more formal yet friendly ambiance.
We were here at 4.00 pm and searched for some european and italian cuisine. We found a very nice Place with Seaview and the food was delicious AF. The Prices are very low for that quality.
Seatable restaurant is mainly Chino Thai cuisine with comfort European. Our main ingredient came from local fisherman. We serve seasonal available seafood.
we had breakfast, lunch and dinner the three days we stayed at the hotel. Lots of choice on the menu, both thai and western food. Beautiful view of the sea (bay with islands) from the restaurant; with a very informal atmosphere. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced, friendly staff.
The biggest difference we noticed on entering this restaurant was the attitude of the waitress. At all other restaurants in this village we have found the people to be welcoming, smiling and helpful. Not so here, the waitress seemed put out by our both arrival and desire to eat food. She begrudgingly took our order and within 10 minutes all 4 dishes arrived. This restaurant serves alcohol, so we had ordered one beer and a fresh coconut, as pictured on the menu as a coconut with a straw in.Five minutes after the beer we got a plastic lidded cup of pineapple and coconut juice, not what we had ordered, with no explanation or apology. It was ok if you like that combination (I donât) but very definitely not what we had ordered.Everywhere else we had eaten they had asked what level of âspicyâ we wanted and produced food that had a lovely kick but with lots of flavour. Here they didnât ask, but in line with our previous meals, we asked the food to be medium spicy. Now we are not afraid of a bit of heat, but the papaya salad had a great flavour but was mind-blowingly hot, as was the Tom Yam, to the point of being inedible. We had also ordered spring rolls, which were filled with undefinable gunk, they were edible but compared to the fresh vegetable filled delights we had eaten elsewhere, not impressive. So overall the food was ok but not great and the service was distinctly lacking. There are lots of lovely places nearby so we would recommend avoiding this place.

did you have enough of thai dishes, then, as a change, dive into "real food", a mixture of heartfelt hear and now, no imported white rice, get it from the island (full grain rice), plus all extra's, smoothies, ice-cream...and the best, like the food i cook at home, pure pleasure! they bake the best, and only bread, on the island!

mama seafood on Kho yao yai island
Stopped here for lunch a few times as we were staying up the beach at the Santhiya. Price is very reasonable and a lot better value than that at the hotel. Menu is extensive but our favourites were the beef with garlic and pepper, the fried calamari amd fried rice in pineapple. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Just to note they do not serve alcoholic drinks due to everything being Halal. We would definitely recommend it to anyone for lunch or dinner if you want an alternative from the hotel.

Welcome to Together, Together is a family run business who strive to provide the best home cooked Thai, European and seafood on the island of Ko Yao Yai. The restaurant has been open for two years and is run by husband and wife, Sunee & Satid. A wide rang
The food was okay here, the penang was served on a shallow plate with not much sauce at all. The beef was okay but not amazing. The toilets werenât very inviting and the toilet wasnât flushing and the sink had no running water. This couldnât help us think of the cleanliness of the kitchen was lowered our view of the place.
