A lovely restaurant with great food and service. We had some lovely starters here like veg spring rolls, chicken satay and king prawns in Thai sweet chilli sauce. I had. Mixed kebab. and the other half had a massiman curry which shel loved. Good restaurant if you are in town. Give it a try. Thanks

I spent all of last season (Nov 2018 - May 2019) in Khao Lak and Piccola Maria was a treat once a week or every two week. The dough is delicious (thick and yeasty, not thin and crispy!), the toppings range from "normal" (tonno & cipolla, salami, margherita) to very nice. Try the Boscaiola with prosciutto and funghi! The service is nice and friendly and the Thai staff understands when you order using the Italian names :) The house wine is from the box, but very drinkable.Thank you for your review Anja, Nice to hear you really enjoyed it here with us. We decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews and also that it is within a short walk of the Moracea where we are staying. This restaurant really stands out as the best meal we've eaten so far. The restaurant is very modern and clean and the Panang curries were superb. The owner Dee provided a lot of information about the food on the menu and made recommendations. The chef Golf who cooked the meal also came and spoke to us. Overall we enjoyed the delicious food in very pleasant surroundings and with excellent service. We will return. Highly recommended.

We have visited this restaurant a couple of times during our vacation in Khao Lak. The service is warm and friendly, the owner is going around in the restaurant making sure everybody is feeling satisfied. The Penang at this place is second to none (and I have had a lot of Penang at different place I might add).I can highly recommend this restaurant for couples and families with small children. We came in and very impressed with the restaurant. The owner Nin was very nice to us. He recommended food based on what we like to eat. So we order Peter Pan special pizza, ribeye steak and carbonara pasta. All the dish were well prepared and tasted very very good. Finished our meal with Tiramisu and Pannacotta. Super happy!

very nice restaurant , food very good so you don't mind paying the extra price. it is a little higher priced than other places but the best food you could imagine. to give you and example. beers 80baht, cocktail high price of 190baht. we had a 2 person entrée plate that was very good then we had pineapple fried rice and lemon chicken and to end it off sticky mango rice total price 1350 baht. staff we really good also couldn't fault will be back , so give it ago cheers from us.

We absolutely loved it here! The restaurant is situated at a beautiful viewpoint on the top of a hill. The food was absolutely amazing! The owner offers traditional Thai cuisine as well as international dishes and puts a fine-dining spin on them. The seasoning and selection of ingredients is thought out into the last detail. Only fresh and local produce is used for cooking. The owner takes the time to explain his menu and is happy to share his immense knowledge about the ingredients he uses. The prices are absolutely reasonable. A full dinner for two with drinks and appetizers will cost somewhere around 50$, which is comparably cheap considering the fantastic quality of the food provided. The view is stunning, the staff is lovely. We are very much looking forward towards coming back the next time we are around.

Ordered a medium surf and turf because the offered Australian beef - it was disgusting. Instead of medium it was served as a sneaker sole in a instant sauce. Even the prawn was too long on the grill an dry, served in tomato sauce. I have the steak back and after asking for a reduction the reduced the price of the Menge by 10% - worst service Iâve ever seen in Thailand!

We decided to try this place after reading several reviews.The owner Mr Ju was welcoming and spoke good English and ran the place with his daughters and wife as chef.We explained we were vegetarians and he said they will try and make something for us.We ordered the Som Tam salad,green curry which was little bland and not as tasty as what we have had elsewhere,massaman veg curry in peanut sauce which was nice and tasty veg fried rice.Service was ok and there are better places nearby which had tastier food!
