Since 1985 HAZIENDA has been a cornerstone in St. Anton for both tourists and locals alike. Over the years some things have changed but the feeling of a classic ski town bar/restaurant atmosphere remains the same. With its understated elegance, Hazienda is a rarefied experience in rustic sophistication and culinary excellence. Seasons pass by, memories are created, good times are had, and lifelong friends are made. So come on down to pay us a visit, relax, eat, drink, and enjoy our atmosphere and become part of our history.
We enjoyed our visit. This is a sophisticated mix of European and more specifically Austrian food, served in a somewhat formal but not overly so manner. There were interesting twists to the preparation and presentation. They also have an excellent wine list, both Austrian and other European wine.

Set in a tastefully refurbished historic mansion, just steps from the ski runs, gondolas and village center of St. Anton, the Museum is a restaurant that features a walk through ski history. Dining in this historic ambiance celebrates delicious modern mountain cuisine that is locally sourced and seasonally inspired. Each of our 5 originally preserved dining rooms tells its own story. A fusion of an Austrian-international style of cooking with fresh and regional ingredients and an inventive twist on classic favourites is what makes our meals taste great. Welcome to a place where history comes to life, where people come together, and where delectable cuisine is served.
My friend and I went to the museum and enjoyed learning all about the start of skiing as well as the development of the area railway and Bridges. We ate lunch at the Museum Restaurant and were absolutely in love with the food. It was a real delight, as was the service. Call for Reservations at night! You will need them.

MooserWirt is not only known for THE Après-Ski in town - they also serve great food up there! And the portions are big. Very big...
Moosewirt was a lot of fun. Everyone is there to have fun after an intense day of skiing. Starting on Friday afternoon, be prepared for it to be super crowded, through the weekend. The people watching is second to none. Most people are also very friendly and looking to meet other people and groups.

This is a very busy, loud, fun, buzzing tapas bar.
And if that were all there was to it, then it would still deserve 4* review: a fun, loud, buzzing bar is a good thing.
But two things lift it to 5*
First is the food. This is actually very good tapas. And that is surprisingly rare: lots iof tapas places just go through the motions, or re-heat prepared food. But this is really tasty. The flaming chorizo is good fun - but it is nice to eat. The gambas were fresh & juicy.
Second is the wine list. It is good value with some very deliucious wines (Camins de Priorat; Haciendo de Monasterio) at reasonable prices.
It is crowded and it is hard to get a table, but don't stress: go, have a glass of wine, enjoy the atmosphere - and enjoy the food

In our cosy and informal Restaurant you can enjoy Austrian traditional cuisine in a rustic atmosphere
On recent ski vacation in St. Anton we wanted to try good Austrian food so checked Tripadvisor and this place was # 1 among traditional restaurants. Despite they take no Reservations the wait was not too bad plus there is a small bar so a few people can wait in comfort. Service was very friendly, no questions. Everything that we tried was amazing - but the famous Wienerschnitzel! But we went there specifically for schnitzel and unfortunately it was not to our expectations. Schnitzel that we had in our hotel for no extra change was about the same - so we felt kind of disappointed. The only reason I write this review is because many other reviewers praised the schnitzel - so I wanted to make others aware it was not as good as described.

After the first visit to Krazy Kanguruh I still vent there two times to have lunch during the skiing week in Sankt Anton. The service was fast, good and friendly. Especially Kellner9, Tisch 5 on 28.2.2018 showed the right service attitude, friendlliness and smile.
The food was tasty and the portions big enough for a manly skier. Gulash Suppe and Tiroler Gröstl were excellent and very suitable meals for a skier.
Price level is about the average in Sankt Anton.

We came up here to view the Edelweiss display that had recently been entered into the Guiness Book of Records. We were not disappointed. Obviously we had to have a drink after our efforts at clambering up! The hostess rather abruptly shouted that I could not go to tables overlooking the display as they were reserved. I told her that I was only going to take a photograph which was met with a grunt! The coffees were delicious and the facilities clean and fresh.

Third time at St Anton and from my first visit several years ago Base Camp has expanded and so has its prices.
They sell tasteless own branded ‘organic beer’ at nearly €7 for small bottle.
Unless you want Weissbeer, it is the only beer they serve on the outside.
Service is iffy with stoney faced staff.
There are better bars. Murrmel is a great bar next to pub 37.
Stay away from the ‘organic beer’ unless you have Imodium. All our guys suffered the next day.

Wonderful remodel. Beautiful hut. The owners are wonderful people who really care about you. If you have a problem, ask for them. The food is authentic. The porch is amazing on a sunny day. Our favorite place to eat or drink on the mountain and this includes Lech, Zurs, Zug, Stuben etc...
