We just had vary bad experience in restaurant Detelina. Very law level of services and law quality food. We were waiting more than hour to receive our orders, although there were no other clients there. Finally we received cold food and bad attitude. I wold never recommend this restaurant.

This was recommended to me as the best restaurant in Petrich (together with "Detelina") and we were not disappointed at all. From the outside it looked unpretentious, but when we entered it was even a little bit posh... The prices were very, very reasonable - twice cheaper than in Sofia. For 10 EUR we were full to the biggest possible extent with wonderful variety of soups, main dishes and desserts. The restaurant name means "The bottom of the sea" and it offers a variety of fish, shrimps, squid and other seafood together with the classic dishes.

I trully recommend "Avalon" complexe in Petrich. I spend there 2 days last weekend with company and we definately will come back there soon. The best thing about the complexe is that you can go first in the restaurant and enjoy the traditionnal balkan cuisine, after that get a nice cocktail in the bar just nex door, and later go and party in discotheque which is also situated next door...And all this at a really fair price!!!!

Dropped in for a quick evening meal having read the reviews. Not disappointed by the meal for two - an excellent Greek salad and souvlaki, plus bread, water, two glasses of wine and a Coke, the bill was just over €15. Shame about the mozzies and slightly noisy dogs. Otherwise a lovely meal.

Greek Restaurant.
Assuming you will visit this restaurant on a hot, sunny day, it may look that you have visited Paradise, among small creeks and streams. I really can not think of a better environment for having lunch.
However the food and the service are not in accordance. The dishes were too salty and the waiting time is hard to be tolerated, especially when waiters give an ignorant stance.
Tip: there are actually three identical taverns there, so if the one is fully booked, you can try your luck to the next one.
