My friend, her niece and I went there after walking around for hours in that beautiful place. One thing - service was too... persistent... besides our waiter obviously forgot to place my order for a fish in foiled paper... I know it shouldn't take more than 20 mins to get one, while I had to wait 45 mins. Anyway it worth it - the fish was very tasty. Same for other food my friends ordered (soups mostly). Keep in mind - one pineapple - doesn't actually mean (desert one) that you will get a WHOLE cut pineapple )) just 1/3 of it ))
We paid around 3,000 RUB or smth like that.

Stopped here for lunch included in a cruise group tour to nearby Peterhof. Several courses including salad & soup, beef & ending with sweet cake & coffee. Received the obligatory shot of vodka. All average fare sitting on long tables with lots of people from other coaches. Staff tried hard but food quality was not the best. Ok'ish.

It is you chance to see how Peter the Great lived and worked in Peterhof. There are lot of paintings bought by Peter the Great in Holland. Bedroom keeps the real belongings of the greatest King of Russia. Museum is closed in bad weather (rain, high humidity).

Didn't have any choice of restaurant as we were on day long tour. Despite being half full, the tour party of thirty were squashed together on to three tables of ten, and so we developed an eating style of only eating when your neighbour had placed something into his/her mouth. We choreographed this quite well.
There was a small salad as a starter, which was nice, a glass of sparkling dry white winer and a glass of palatable vodka. The soup was a little bland and the main course was cooked effectively. Would we pay to return on our own - no.
Large restaurant but only two toilets which resulted in a perpetual queue.

The restaurant is quiet large and has a few Seating areas, there is a space for families with children and a play room.
The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was Profesional and perry quick.
Very tasty food, fresh sushi.
And the toilet is equipped for babies :)

After visiting Peterhof we had lunch at Brynza (within east walking distance - your bus/car can stay in the same parking lot as the one to Peterhof). Brynza has many locations around St.Petersburg. Food selection and quality was good and prices were moderate (lunch for 4 cost about $30 or 2,000 Rubles).

You will probably be pleased with a meal here.
The food was great. Only one vegetarian option though, spaghetti with cheese and tomato. Cooked very well and very hearty. 8/10.
Chicken on skewers was cooked fresh so succulent and juicey, served with a nice salsa. Needed a side and the french fries were fine.
We were the there at the sametime as a private wedding and they coped very well with the number of people. Impressed.
Toilets were dirty unfortunately. But you can forgive them.
Would go again and recommend.
