Perched on the banks of the wide Swan River, between the Indian Ocean and the sands of the Nullarbor Desert, Perth is one of the world's most isolated cities, yet still boasts an active beach scene and smokin’ nightlife. Family-friendly Cottesloe is brimming with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Head north to Scarborough for a spirited beachside club scene. Coo at cute marsupials on ferry-accessible Rottnest Island, and don’t miss the views from King's Park and Botanic Gardens.

Bar scene, special occasion dining, entertaining clients
We dined early, and the place got more and more crowded. I would say that a reservation is a must. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, especially on the wine side. This was the best dinner we had in Perth.
The flies gras parfait was too die for.

Yes, that's correct. This restaurant serves vegetarian buffet where you eat as you like and pay what you like. There is no price neither a check. It's your call! I paid AUD15 for my meal. It's certainly worth the amount.

Multi award winning fine dining, special occasion Restaurant with a 3 Michelin star experienced chef.
Went for a birthday dinner and had an excellent evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Seafood Degustation was outstanding. Complimentary glass of champagne and surprise plate of bite sized desserts were very much appreciated. This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back.

Spacious restaurant with relax family feeling (kid room also available). My steak porterhouse angus and my wife fillet mignon. We loved them. Juicy and cooked just the way we ordered them. Steak came with green salad amd chips. Menu also includes ribs, burgers, crocodile and kangaroo meat. Staffs super nice and always smile. 1 kg steak challenge, free on the house if you can finish less than 30 minutes.

Sentinel Bar & Grill is a welcome addition to the burgeoning dining and small bar scene in the Perth CBD. Paying homage to the style of New York and the intrinsic food culture of France, Sentinel Bar & Grill is a sophisticated restaurant and bar, encompassing breakfast, lunch, dinner, all day dining.Sentinel's lunch and dinner menu, complemented by an enticing bar menu features a concise, considered grill component balanced with classically inspired bistro food. Sentinel's wine list promotes French titles augmented with local and other international varietals. The bar serves a varied range of both tap and bottled beer, supported by a comprehensive list of spirits and classic cocktails.
What a beautiful venue to catch up with friends and family for a great chat, catch up, a never ending glass of bubbles and amazing treats. (Especially after a long day of shopping).
I was so impressed by everything that The Sentinel did ...
Everything ticked every box.
Service, attention to detail, food... A 5 Star rating from me.
I will definitely be coming back
Thankyou so much

Can not recommend this place enough, such an original breakfast menu and consistent high quality. You can watch the chef finish plating each meal and feel the pride in his work. Has a funky inner Melbourne feel and very laid back atmosphere. So enjoy this place each and every time we eat there.

143 Barrack Street, Grand Lane.
Open M-F 0700-1600. S 0900-1600. S 1000-1500.
What you are looking for is the graffiti alleyway, where local employees hang out to smoke in their breaks, just off Wellington Street.
It’s a tiny but welcoming space, with a seated garden to wait for your order, which is quick to arrive in a take out box.
You can eat in, patrons come and go, so Seating is constantly revolving.
I chose to return to where my parked car several blocks away, under a gorgeous flowering frangipani tree. By this time the toastie was perfect eating temperature.
I chose a BAG, bacon, apple and gouda cheese. A cold pressed juice, lemon, apple and ginger, was welcome on this hot day. All up $14.00.
The bread thick, herbed and toasted to perfection, looked overdone but no, this is what they specialise in, it was perfection.
Bacon tasty, apple still a little crunchie and cheese plentiful, all in all, couldn’t fault a thing.
There were several Mothers, children and toddlers there all scoffing down happily, affording them enough time to get a jolly good old chin wag in. Workers from the area, some regulars being greeted by name.
Highly recommend.

Being featured on Channel 7, the Western Australian newspapers, the Sunday Times, STM magazine, Scoop Magazine, PerthNow, Yahoo7 and many other media publications, Le Vietnam has been known as the "must go to when in Perth" for their delicious Banh Mis.

Keeping its origin, going back to France and Vietnam to learn the secrets and expanding to a whole range of Banh Mi options with specialised Vietnamese drop coffee
Lee the owner gives each customer the best customer service, with his warm smile and remembering you by name and also what you generally order. The ban mi baguette is always fresh and the fillings are always delicious. Thoroughly recommended - I would always go back.
