We are a full service restaurant and lounge. Great menu's with reasonable prices!
Staying at Hotel Pattee. Chose to eat dinner here. Seated right away about an hour from closing time. I ordered the walleye beer battered with fries. Tasted fresh, or not previously frozen. Alittle greasy. The cheasrballs were good. My wife ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was a middle of the road type of sandwich. Probably wouldn't order again. Being in the middle of pork country they would do better to have locally produced food. This one tasted previously frozen. Average rating. Please step up your game we like coming to this hotel, and want to see a restaurant here.

Great family Mexican restaurant. We ate there on a Tuesday night and had the place to ourselves until after 6 then the place filled up fast. My ire and daughter raved about the spinach enchiladas. Our other meals were good as well and the portions were huge. The good ratings on this site seem well deserved.

My server is currently across the street at the Ben Franklin, he has been gone about 10 minutes. Your guess is as good as mine of why he's over there, and not here.
Add in the crying baby of one of the other worker's, and I have to admit, this has been an unusual dining experience.
I had to get up and ask for a refill of my iced tea. Seriously, I find the entire thing amusing. Others might not find it so.
The 4 tacos pastor were very filling, and were pretty good. I had 2 pupusas which were excellent. There was a choice of pupusas, I let the server pick two out, his choice. The menu looked to have a nice variety.
Server still not back. Yikes.
Another unusual thing, when I asked for the Wi-Fi password the server asked to use my iPod so that he could enter the password. Maybe it was in Spanish, I just don't know what to think.
Be prepared for the unusual. I'd give it more stars, but this is wacky.
(After I left, I went to the Ben Franklin to the area that my server was standing. Apparently he was at the photo kiosk getting prints made. Huh? Who does that?)

Hash browns with onions and peppers topped with cheese topped with an egg topped with sausage gravy!! Not an every day breakfast but good comfort food. Our family of 4 stooped there at 9 at on a Wednesday and there was only one other party there. Our meals were usual breakfast items-eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, French toast, coffee, juice. All were good, the bacon in particular. The bill for 4 of us was slightly over $40 and the staff was almost apologetic about it! Portions were generous and we felt like it was a good value. This is a old fashioned greasy spoon in all the right ways. They are closed on Mondays and close at 2 the rest of the week. We will be back.

The Perry Perk is a nice coffee shop. They have a wide variety of coffees, teas, frappes, etc. Love the Chai. They have pastries and have a small, but good, lunch menu. I've had coffee cake, the huge cinnamon rolls, cake, muffins, as well as the quiche for lunch. I haven't been disappointed. Service is good and the owner and her son are friendly and willing to make you happy.

The Mandarin Cafe has been open in downtown Perry for at least 20 years. They have both lunch and dinner menus. The reasonably priced lunch menu includes the entree, rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll. My favorite is the Garlic Chicken entree - but everything I have tried is always fresh and delicious. Their Crab Rangoon appetizer is also one of the best I have ever had. Perry is lucky to have the Wong Family and their Mandarin Cafe!

We decided to try this restaurant because it was small and seemed unique. It definitely was that. My wife wanted a glass of wine and the waitress said she thought they had some but she had never poured any. I wanted a beer but they had none on tap and they had no list of beers. They did have a good selection and the waitress was helpful. The food was very good. The wine was terrible the beer was good. I would go back again just manage my expectations.

Stand alone south of the main drag, it was perfect to pause from the bike trail. Got the standard fare to load up on the calories for our final push back to Des Moines. Had the high tech soda.

Ate here last night. Great little Chinese buffet in Perry. Food is hot, tasty, and very fresh. For a small town, this is a great place. Friendly workers ( I assume they own the place). If you are looking for a good quick place, then try it. You won't be disappointed. TOok our 9 year old last night. He enjoyed trying a little bit of everything to see what he likes. Makes it nice so we don't have to 'guess' at a different Chinese restaurant.

This place isn't open a lot, so when we saw the lights on we headed in. BOth my wife and I got burritos. They were good. The Lengua was delicious. My only gripe was there wasn't much meat, and a lot of rice/beans. Next time I would like to try the tacos. We will be back. The service was great, I assume the owner was the one working and doing everything. Nice man & friendly - cares about his business. Support the local businesses.
