Those warm rolls are my favorite part of the meal! Secondly, the fried okra came out really good & hot. The chicken fried steak is good enough. Everyone told us about the wonderful pie. Although I've tasted better pie, it's most likely the best pie anywhere nearby.
All the history on their walls is simply fascinating, if not my favorite part of the experience.

Well, not the best Braum's i've been to. It's hit or miss on the quality of food you will be served. The store is soon to be getting remodeled, so fingers crossed the new fryers and grills will help with the quality of food. The customer service is excellent! It's out of their hands that the store is so outdated and past cleaning. I hope they stay on during the construction and bring the good name of Braum's back. The fresh market is kept stocked and looks nice and clean. The floor in the cook area looks hazardous with plywood just laying around as a make shift floor. I'm looking forward to the facelift as we generally love a good Braum's burger.

Decent donut shop located near the Walmart. Nothing special about this donut shop besides for their sausage rolls, which go fast!

My kids and I stopped in for a Mexican food lunch before hitting the Cherokee Strip Museum. Unfortunately, the restaurant, while friendly, was just average. The table salsa was bland. The quest was middling. The Chile verde was poor. The kid plates were fine but not exceptional.

I liked everything about this buffet-so many choices and all well labelled so you knew what they were, food was hot, not lukewarm like some buffets, prices very reasonable, and wait staff helpful and kept your beverages full and quickly removed dirty dishes.
The restaurant is located close to downtown a short distance from the interstate (but worth the drive) and has lots of free off street parking. Everything is accessible.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and will definitely stop again when in Perry.

I really wanted to like this place but I was not impressed. It is a Christian bakehouse owned by a local Church. That being said, I had hoped to feel welcome & we did not. The staff were not friendly at all - they were quite aloof.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese. The bread does not contain poppy seeds but one side of one slice was coated with them from being next to some bagels. The egg was the not freshly made & was the thinnest piece of pre-cooked pre-formed scrambled egg patty I have ever seen - about the thickness of a slice of deli lunchmeat. The bacon was not freshly made either but the pre-cooked pre-packaged type. They forgot to put cheese on the sandwich and realizing their mistake came to my table, took my sandwich back, and added a cold slice of american cheese. They did not warm up the sandwich to melt the cheese. The sandwich was less than warm.
They also gave us the wrong beverages.
The scone did not taste like a scone at all. Other than being in the shape of a scone, I am not sure how they could even call it a scone.
And to top it off, a pesky fly wanted to share our breakfast & instead of having the leisurely breakfast we were seeking, we spent the time attempting to shoo away the nasty fly.
We will not stop here again.
If you do, please note there are multiple menus. The menu is on the ceiling/wall above you when you enter. They did not even mention they have more menu items. We did not notice this until we were leaving - an additional menu is on the ceiling/wall behind you after you enter - which, since it was not pointed out to us, we did not notice until we were exiting. It had a better selection & if we had know this - we definitely would have ordered from the menu behind us!

Having a dog with us, ordered to take to our hotel. Manager was extremely helpful and courteous in accommodating our party. Food was scrumptious. Obviously fresh ingredients, well prepared. Not heated up with spiciness, but good homestyle sauces and ingredients. Prices reasonable with generous portions.

Tried the Pizza Hut first but it was a bit scary, dusty, and understaffed. The parking lot was pretty well empty. Instead we wandered over to Simple Simon which was well let, clean, and the staff very friendly. While we were there others kept streaming in. The pizza we got to take back to our hotel was truly yummy.

This placed had been closed for a number of years then re-opened with a slightly different menu. Interesting house-turned-restaurant makes for a unique atmosphere. The burgers are pork burgers - very good but not the taste your are initially expecting.

They make great omelettes and biscuits and gravy. There Chicken fried steak is very large and good! The appetizer onion rings will serve several people. This restaurant serves hungry people. They even have a 1 pound hamburger. There prices are very reasonable. This is a truck stop, but very popular with the locals.
