We decided to make a stop and have a lunch there based on the TA rating, and it was a bad decision (which, to be fair, happens seldom). The cafe was focused on serving big tourist groups, two of three rooms were hard smoking, and the quality of food was not great.
At the same time, we saw a lot of new restaurants on our way in the city of Pereslavl, so next time we'd try something else.

If you are traveling from Yaroslavl to Moscow and back, the trip takes about 5 hours for some. If you want to stop for lunch - found a better place. Cozy restaurant with good service and great Russian cuisine for little money. Since people have the capital and European dishes and rolls

Very nice items for sale at the entrance. The interior decoration is outstanding. The moment the waitress knew I didn't speak Russian, she gave me two menus, one in English and and the other one in Russian in order to make sure I ordered the right thing. Try their Пельмени (Russian dumplings) with Сметана (sour cream), and if one cup of tea is never enough, you have come to the right place to ask for a самовар церемония (samovar ceremony). It's nicely located next to the Savior's Cathedral. The owner or manager was extremely helpful to call for a taxi.

This is a restaurant inside a new gated hotel building. The room is huge and expensively made: wood and metal designs are everywhere, even the ceiling. We had lunch there on Friday: we were the only clients, the waitress was super sweet and diligent: she paid all her attention to us. She arranged the food to be cooked just to my kids' taste. The food was very good and we felt like the kings. The price level was average for Moscow region. It is located close to the local Kremlin but no exceptional views.. Overall I recommend this restaurant - the service was exceptional!

The 1st place in my native town I decided to rate. Tiny coffee-shop with French sweets on the river. Amazing coffee and incredible sweets! In comparison with Moscow - good prices. Tables decorated with old black and white pictures, large window-sills in leather where you can sit with your lap-top or a book enjoying your coffee.
