I think we were early for lunch, and arrived before the crowd! Enjoyed our lunch a great deal, husband ordered a lobster club Sandwich (so fresh!) and I had an amazing seafood lasagna that I will never forget! Service was friendly with a smile, but very little English was spoken here. Would visit again!

La Morutière is located on the ocean side in Percé. For fresh sea food and fish, we are the place.
My husband and I had dinner here after touring Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island. It was a beautiful evening to sit outdoors and we took full advantage of it. I don't remember what we ate but looking at my receipt it says, entrecote $28 and bavette de boeuf $24. All I remember is that it was delicious. We had a nice leisurely dinner with excellent cocktails before heading back to our hotel. Agnes was our server and she was wonderful to us. She made sure our food was to our liking and that we had everything we needed. This was right on the water and very close to the dock where we took the boat tour. A very pleasant experience.

I had bouillibase which was uninspired and lacking in flavor. Seemed that the broth was watery and had canned vegetables in it. Looked much better than it tasted. Came with smoked salmon, lemon merinque pie and tea.. the best part of the meal. very cute place and service was great. Beautiful view as well. It could be great.

This restaurant was badly damaged by winter/spring storms and floods and when I visited in August it was still undergoing renovations. The bottom level bistro-style restaurant was gone and only the more formal restaurant remained, plus they had a sort of windowed in section with a view of the Percé Rock and Ile Bonaventure. The lunch menu was a disappointment both in terms of very limited selection and somewhat higher prices. The food was really nothing special and better food and value can be found elsewhere. This used to be a must-visit for me whenever I was in the area but I think I'll pass next time.

A quaint restaurant and a delicious meal, although the service was quite slow albeit pleasant. Make a reservation (which we did) as it's quite busy since there are very few decent restaurants in Perce (lots of pizza and hot dog type places). This was a gem of a find and I'd definitely return if in the area. The chocolate dessert was melt-in-your-mouth delectable too. Ask if you can sit in the front room overlooking the water.

We were looking for a less expensive option for dinner and found this cafe. Service was good and the fish and chips very tasty.

This restaurant is inside hotel La Normandie but is open to all. Fish, seafood, meat, pasta and vegetarian plates. Exceptional setting right on the beach facing the Bonaventure island and the fabulous Perce Rock.
The restaurant offers a "forfait"--a package deal for hotel guests--including 2 buffet breakfasts and two dinners, for $160, plus tax. This is in addition to the room charge. Oddly enough, the explanation of the forfeit says that tips are included.
Our dinner was superb: fresh halibut baked in water to keep it moist, much like poached halibut. It was served with an hydromel sauce (a honey wine like mead). The dinner also included a choice of appetizer and a soup or salad. The terrine and foi gras combination WM had was to die for, as was the shrimp, scallop and fish Mrs WM tried. The salads were unique creations--all very good.
The restaurant has windows along two walls, providing a pleasant view of the Gulf of St Lawrence from every table, even the tables in the centre of the room. Perhaps it is indelicate to say this, but the high prices kept families with boisterous kids away. The restaurant was occupied by refined people (I know what you're thinking: What was the Wolfmann doing there), mainly in couples, who didn't have to shout to hear each other.
Fortunately there are lots of other restaurants in Perce, some with live music, so that everyone can find something that pleases them and suits their needs.
This being said, we're going to the Normandie again tonight.

It's a small restaurant with a limited choice of dishes but all of them seem very good, according to the people around us. We had maple syrop scallops with boiled red potatoes, absolutely delicious! The vegetable cream that came as a a first course was very good too. A French couple at the nearby table had lobster, they were delighted and a Belgian family at the end table seemed to adore the blue cheese sausages, specialty of the house. Unfortynately the owner was working alone being cook, waiter, barman, all at the same time. Which slowed the service a lot. However the atmosphere is very cool, nice Henry Salvador jazz music, playing like a murmur in your ear. Since it's a small restaurant we couldn't eat there the first night we dropped in, we had to reserve for the night after. However we didn't regret it. But be aware it's a long wait and should be reserved. Prices are reasonable.

My wife and I ate at the restaurant in Sept of 2013 and we both had excellent meals. I had pasta with salmon and she had pasta with chicken. The presentation was very good and our waiter was very attentive. A great value for this city.

Stopped for coffee and cake. The choice of cake, pastry and bread was very good. We had the cinnamon brioche with excellent coffee and bought a baguette levain which was delicious. We went back for another coffee and brioche as they were just perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful.
