Halfway between Kotor and Herceg Novi, in Boka Kotorska, lies a small town called Morinj. Morinj has been long known for its mills that used to grind olives and grains. But, time took its toll and the mills of Morinj, together with the old customs, were forgotten. 20 years ago Lazar Ćatović put a lot of work and love into the mill and the family house that has been in his family for over 200 years and turned them into a world-class tavern. What makes ĆATOVIĆA MLINI unique is Lazar’s idea to preserve the harmony and union that the local people and nature created together. All the work done at the tavern was conducted with respect to the local tradition and culture and with a careful choice of details. Thanks to his vision, the mill lives on. ĆATOVIĆA MLINI offers a safe haven from the rush of life, and time goes by just the way it suits you.
We have heard about this place so many times and finally had a chance to visit. Totally weren't disappointed. The ambiance is just unreal, little lakes and nature all around. Service is absolutely superb and food fantastic. Go with the recommendations, the waitors seem to...MoreDear Ines, Thanks so much for your kind comment. We hope to welcome you again. Best regards, Catovica mlini

Try two restaurants in Perast. Really love Conte Hotel Restaurants. Right on sea side just like most of the restaurants in Perast. Nice atmosphere, professional service. I ordered seafood platter in local style. Mussels, shrimp are very fresh and tasty. And they recommend a very nice white wine to me for pairing. Very nice lunch experience!

I have never eaten fish dishes like this before. We ordered fried calamari, stuffed calamari with shrimp and mussels with tomato. I tasted these in many different countries but this was the best. The service was extremely kind and good. Mandic was so friendly and kind. Finally the location; it is really perfect. Wooden tables, a very nice sea view just next to you, away from the crowd. I highly and extremely recommend.

Bar and cafe in Perast. Open from 8.00 a.m. for breakfast until midnight for drinks.
The food was quite ok for such a touristy place. Nice views. The waiters were not the fastest but friendly. But the olives were a real shame for this country, as well as the olive oil that tasted so bad that I spit it out just in case. I hope this comment helps the place to improve.

This is a new restaurant within the Port Montenegro Marina development
All experience in Tivat was great but special recognition deserves Al Posto Giusto. It's outstanding restaurant.
Every dish was sublime, deserving prize and will not forget how absolutely wonderful were people working there. Even though the place was non stop swamped by customers, waiters every time encouraged us to wait for a table. When we got back there another day for a dinner, different waiter brought for us exactly the same wine, we chose previously. When asked, how didi you know that? He answered- I remember what wine you ordered another night. If All waiters were more like nephews to us ( I travelled with my family) taking care with kindness and affection. All my family keeps fond memories of dining at Al Posto Giusto.

Restaurant ONE at the foot of Porto Montenegro's Jetty 1 was established in 2011 as a first restaurant in this super yacht marina. Six years in, it still holds the image of neighborly place that attracts yachties, expats and stylish people from all over the region. ONE offers a modern Adriatic menu prepared with international favorites you won't find elsewhere. The most expensive view in the country offers ideal setting for brunch, sunset drinks, or romantic dinners.
Walking on the pier in porto Montenegro we saw a very attractive restaurant named One and decided to give it a try. We started with the tuna carpaccio which was quite tasty and when the toasted bread arrived we thought that we had a winner. But unfortunately things sent down hill after that. My bream served with black rice was just average as the fish was smothered in a white cheesy sauce that completely masked the flavor of the fish and the black rice was somewhat sticky. My wife's said her leg of lamb was average at best, tender but the flavor of lamb lost in the accompanying sauce.

This place has such an incredibly beautiful view of the sea. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. When we asked for something vegan-friendly to be made up he was quick to understand and deliver! Boyfriend had pizza which he very much enjoyed. We were very surprised at how affordable the meal was as we had also ordered two drinks! Would definitely recommend.

The receptionist at the Alkima hotel next door suggested we should try this restaurant. Well we couln't thank her enough for her recommendation. Here we tried one of the juiciest and most tender steaks ever. The service is also very good and attentive. Must be one of the best go to restaurants in Kotor yet not the tourist trap type. Highly recommended steakhouse.
