Always a nice lunch. Strombolis are large enough for two women to share and be filled. Good salads and other lunch specials.
I usually do not review chain restaurants because most people know what to expect, you aren't reading Trip Advisor to discover McDonalds or Taco Bell. However, when an establishment has such a "I could care less" attitude about service, I cannot let it go. We ordered a pie using the internet app. This app gives you a time your pizza will be ready. I don't expect the pie to be ready exactly on time, but this pizza was 22 minutes late. Once they collected my money, nobody even made eye contact with me. If I did not have hungry kids waiting for the pizza I promised, I would have asked for a refund. Of course that assumes anyone would have appeared behind the counter and asked if they could help. They sure weren't busy cleaning the place. When I received the pizza, I asked why the pizza was delayed. After I waited another 2 minutes, I heard the manager say, "Tell him the oven is acting up." At least she was telling the truth. When I took the Pizza home, the crust was not fully cooked. The franchisee and Pizza Hut Corporate need to take notice. The only reason I went to Pizza Hut was to save time. There is better Pizza available just down the road at 3-4 family run pizzerias. Uggh!

Sal was born in Sicily, Italy and moved to Brooklyn, NY where learned the art of pizza making. In 1982 he moved to the Lehigh Valley and opened up Sal's Pizza. All our food is made to order to your liking. We offer dine-in in our authentically decorated f
Unless you come from the large sections of the world where pizza by the slice is hard to come by, I wouldn't call this place revolutionary. But for the price, the slices and steak sandwiches are worth the money. There's a decent variety of slices available during lunch and dinner to cater to most tastes (other than vegan or gluten-free). I have not sampled their entire menu over the years, but I can assure that the slices and sandwiches are worth it. Maybe skip the salads unless your regime for the day absolutely calls for it.

There are really only two pizza restaurants in Macungie. We've already reviewed the other one (also located on Main Street), which was also meh and we don't include franchised restaurants in any of our reviews.Someone could do well with an authentic pizza shop here. Salvatore's has a booming business; although we can't figure out why - other than it has a great location.Venue - old, dirty and just plain not inviting.Service - kind of slow.Food - we ordered the specialty of the house - their signature pizza "Salvatore Special." It was not. The mushrooms were canned, onions and green peppers were not cooked and the sausage was bought in bulk and looked less than appetizing. Remember the pizzas you've had where each piece of sausage had a different shape, was tastefully grilled - well not here. We had a hard time finding the cheese on the pizza, too. And to top it all off - all the toppings were poured into the center of the pie - so when you pulled a slice out of the box, the tip of your slice crashed from the weight of the toppings and sogginess of the crust. All the toppings went crashing onto your plate (or lap) with it.Needless to say - we won't be back unless we get a call from these #silversagers letting us know they have cleaned up their act and want us to give it a second try.Silver Sage Magazine#silversagemag

On the hotel's recommendation we ordered from Potsy's and it was pretty good. Large-ish portions. Semi-healthy in general. Typical food for the area. Nobody got the pizza so no comment on that. The salads were fresh ( way too large) and full of stuff you probably should avoid. If you are looking for that typical american overfed approach - Potsy's could be your place. ( go easy on the dressing too.....)

My wife and I get to Gioâs every 3-4 weeks and itâs always for the pizza. Their pizza is thin crust and has a unique taste compared to any others that we have tried (and weâve had many different pizzas over the years!). Gioâs makes their pizza from select imported ingredients, including the flour used in their hand-tossed dough. The pizza is baked at 600F in a brick oven with an open-flame hearth. The result is a distinctive, very fresh tasting, truly wonderful pizza. Most recently we went to Gioâs on a Thursday night. My wife had the personal-size Margherita pizza with pepperoni and red onion added, and I had the personal-size Giovanna pizza (which includes salami, sausage, hot peppers) with red onion added. Delicious as always. My personal preference would be for a bit more time in the oven to stiffen and blacken the pizza, but my wife prefers it just as it is. On this evening I also had the soup appetizer, chicken with rice, which was also fresh tasting and delicious. Our bill, which included 2 beers and a soda, was $47, before the tip. Gio's pizza is premium priced for the size (9â personal-size), but itâs worth it. My brother, who lives in NJ and has access to Italian shore pizzas, says he wishes he could get pizza this good in NJ.

We were traveling through PA and wanted some pizza. We looked at reviews and we are so glad that we chose Slice of Italy! The pizza is absolutely delicious (I would highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza!) and they really care about their presentation, the pizzas were gorgeous! Everyone was very nice and it was very clean. 10/10!
