GREAT FOOD, GREATER GOOD! Located in the historic south side Bethlehem. Offering delicious breakfast, coffee, homemade baked goods & soup, lunch, catering, delivery, conference room reservations, and much more!
This awesome cafe (only breakfast & lunch is served) is not only a great place to eat but also allows you to support a great cause. The breakfast menu looked quite yummy and we enjoyed a great lunch of a cuban sandwich and my turkey bacon ranch wrap. Their iced tea (passion fruit) was delicious. On a gorgeous day, enjoy a table outside which is colorfully furnished and includes a koi pond. Support a local community cafe that supports those dealing with mental concerns and enjoy great food and wonderful people. They have a room for groups of 12-15 for organizational meetings, etc. Prices are very reasonable. A sandwich and side run less than $8 generallyThank you for the great review.Cafe the Lodge
We always stop here for cronuts when visiting the Sands. The only down side is that the cronuts aren't usually ready until around 10am. We like to hit the casino around 8am because its not crowded, then we'll walk the mall area & grab cronuts on the way out.

Brunch Served Everyday!
A very pleasant experience for several reasons. First, the Bethlehem Star Cafe is perfectly situated in the heart of Bethlehem near Moravian College, the Hotel Bethlehem and shopping. ALL the staff is extremely friend and service is efficient.Coffees including espresso are outstanding! It's a bit noisy but cozy even for our large group of 13. The food was very good. My Crabcake Benedict ($17) was nicely presented. The home fries were good but needed a slight flavor-up (hot sauce, salt). The sausage patties were excellent. The crabcake was OK, but basically "special crabmeat grade". Others loved the huge Hamburgers, Portabello Mushroom Benedict and the Spicy Fish Tacos. We will definitely return. Can't say enough about the service. A winner!

Wow! going to Diana's Cafe for her monthly dinner special was fantastic. She offers a priced fixed menu ($50 ) for a five course meal. Appetizer, soup, salad, entree and dessert. I can't say enough about it and it's BYOB. Reservations are required and the menu is posted ahead of time on the website. The service was great and Diana was in constant presence helping serve and speaking to her guests. We will definitely make a return for her next event and bring friends.

Came here for breakfast with the family. There were lots of options for everyone, including the vegetarians. There are lots of unique menu items, some of which were too unique for me to give a try.Our first order of business was to order coffee. The flavored coffee when we were there was coconut - my absolute favorite. It was a really happy surprise!I did go out of my usual omelette comfort zone and ordered the "The Wendy" - stuffed with bacon, smoked Gouda, caramelized onions, portabella mushrooms and tomatoes. It was delicious! I really enjoyed the sweetness of the onions paired with the unami of the mushrooms. A truly perfect combo. I don't usually like tomatoes in my eggs but these didn't bother me. Happily they didn't make the eggs soggy. The omelette came with the roasted potatoes which had good flavor and just a bit of spice to them. Our service was very good. Took just a bit for the food to arrive but since everything is made to order the time was completely reasonable.

I wanted to skip the hotel breakfast and bring in breakfast for wife. This fit the bill for a quick walk down the block. Quaint store with more than just bagels. Fresh juice. Egg sandwiches. Lox and cream cheese and a huge assortment of spreads. Fast service but some communication issues with worker behind the counter. Sunday and maybe English is not first language but other worker was helping him get the order right. Bagels are new youâre bagels but good and have that pull to them. Good place to stop and has indoor seating

The food is great and we often go. But this is not a place for a quick bite. When busy, service is a bit low but food always hot and fresh. We don't mind. Owners and waitress very nice.

My wife, adult daughter and I had breakfast with two friends here on a Friday morning at 9 in late July. We ordered coffee, three kinds of eggs Benedict, juice and another entree. Service was prompt and attentive and our coffee cups stayed well filled. We enjoyed our meal, and the bill with 20% tip came to $85 which seems fine for feeding 5 of us a sizable breakfast. Ambiance here is not fancy, so it gets a 4. Food was tasty, so it gets a 4. Location is good, right on Broad off New Street, so location gets a 5, and value gets a 4, while service gets a 5. That works out to an overall 4. This was our second time eating at Billyâs and we likely will do so again next time we are in Bethlehem.Hello PhilosophicalOldGuy, I appreciate the in depth review. It helps us see where we can improve and to see what we are doing right. We'll definitely work on making sure the ambiance is set right, as well as keep making sure our food is up to the standards that we have become known for. I hope next time you come visit we will have earned all 5s! Thanks again, and see you soon

This small neighborhood place is worth visiting with a friend or two. Seating and kitchen are squeezed into a living room size space. Love the patterned metal ceiling! The breakfast menu is also small and interesting. I had a mac and cheese skillet (with bacon, sausage, potato bottom and egg on top). Next time I'll try the shrimp and grits crepe, my second choice. My companions had more standard breakfast fare. The pork and red pepper omelet was delicious. All choices under $10. Fast, friendly service. Our trips to Lehigh will definitely include return visits to the People's Kitchen!
