This place has a great lineup of beer very knowledgeable bartenders and friendly servers. But I have to talk about are the fried pickles. Oh my god they are so delicious! Cruncy breading that is covered in the perfect amount of dill and fried to a dream like slender. I eat them and then think about them When I leave the bar. The rest of the menu is good too. But oh the pickles....Thanks for the rave review of our fried pickles! Happy to hear you've found an Isaac's favorite. Hope to see you back soon!

Unfortunately I couldn't get in as they have a two ID policy in place door. Didn't want to carry a wallet so only traveled here with a DL and Credit card. I understand the policy is to curb fake ID's, but I'm 32 years old. I suggested they Google my name on my phone as there are a plethora of news articles with pictures that would verify my identity. I also asked to speak to a manager. The security folks just ignored me. Note there was no line or waiting patrons and plenty of security staff around so I feel it was a reasonable request. What's most frustrating is that I'm the DD for the night; I haven't and wouldn't be drinking anyway.By and large, the staff was a bit unprofessional and standoffish. I observed them for a few minutes after this ordeal and they were just cherry picking people out of line - no hooded shirts or jackets, no hats, no white tshirts, no earrings of certain size, etc - all these people were sent away. I assume these are all preventative measures for the safety of guests, especially considering the area of Trenton, but it still seems overboard. And if it's truly not overboard, then it's a red flag and I wouldn't want to be here in the first place.

Our church men's group had our March get together here yesterday. There were 19 of us. Not much on atmosphere or decor, but the food and the service were great. The server was able to keep things moving.Thank you for your review and please visit us again soon!We are renovating much of the building as well. Stay tuned! :o)

Came for lunch on a Friday, ate outside on the patio. They had some nice lunch selections, I had a delicious grilled cheese/short rib/onion/arugula, really good, large portion. Co-workers also enjoyed their lunch options, nobody had a bad meal. Definitely dark inside, typical Irish style. Had a nice beer selection as well. Not sure why there are a bunch of so-so reviews, maybe the entrees don't measure up to the lunch options?

Our server was great. Very attentive and funny wish I could remember his name.Our food was really good everything came out warm and tasty. The garlic bread was really good and actually had enough garlic on it! Dinner salads were OK. The entrees for our group were all good. Desserts good.Prices a bit high for the area.

Had Saturday night dinner here with our daughter, son-in-law, and their two pre-school aged daughters. A wonderful time! Finding parking on a Saturday night was a little sporty, but after that all went smoothly. First off, we got a table for six IMMEDIATELY. I was stunned, and grateful. Menus, water, and appetizer arrived quickly. Separate kiddies menu included the usual offerings, with one ordering grilled cheese and the other getting Mac and cheese. Both of them were quite happy. It was restaurant week in Yardley, so I ordered from the special fixed-price menu. Farro salad for openers was superb, followed by the house special ConTav burger - which was huge and yummy - and then chocolate mousse with berries and cream for dessert. Great meal at a great price! My wife had their chicken pot pie, which she very much enjoyed. Is this place haute cuisine? Nope. But is it a place for a good meal, some good on-tap brews, good conversation and laughs with your whole family? Absolutely!

The weather was lovely so we elected to eat outside. We were a party of four and we each ordered different items. The butterfish, mahi mahi, short ribs and pasta with vodka sauce were all delicious. The only disappointment was the banana cream pie for my dessert.

Wow - we sat at the bar and had a very nice meal with drinks recently. Great food as usual and our drinks were perfectly prepared. What damaged the night for us (and clearly others) was the large family there for Easter. Every adult was clearly intoxicated and beyond loud and obnoxious. No one said or did a thing about it. We were surprised and disappointed. Trust me - it was BADHello Thomas - I am sorry to hear of your recent experience here. I am a little confused about the 'Easter' reference. My husband and I recently returned to this restaurant after about a year or so. We were impressed then but no longer. The menu is less interesting, more pizza than sandwiches. The house salad that came with my waffle grilled cheese sandwich was very wilted and the dressing had been sitting out. The waffle grilled cheese sandwich was very disappointing, fairly tasteless, soggy waffles. No reason to ret,frankly.
