First, I have to say that this is not the address of the Sonny's Grill that I am reviewing. The restaurant we ate at was across from Burger King on Route 201 in Belle Vernon. We had a long wait for a table (with reservations for 6), long wait for food (came out in spurts), our dining experience took two hours. They were out of potatoes, except cold fries or rice. No bread, no offer of drink refill, and the waitress pulled up a chair to take our orders. My husband ordered the filet mignon. $24.95 for a filet and a cup of onion soup, that's it....no potato, no bread, and no salad (unless we paid more). When I told a friend about the experience, she said that she thinks this is Sonny's second restaurant and that the other, original is located near Arnold City, which is the Mikula Rd address above. She also had a bad experience at Sonny's (#2) and that I should try the original one which she says is much better. I think the prices are too high for what you get, so I'm going to pass on trying the original and we will not be returning to this location no matter how good the crabcakes were.

Went to lunch with a friend. The pizza dough and toppings are ALWAYS very good. The gyro salad is some sort of processed lamb and NOT the real deal. Good service today from an A+ waitress named Kaylyn. Good service today. Prompt service has always been somewhat hit or miss.
This dockside open air restaurant is a hidden gem on Rt. 88. Open air eating with excellent views of the boats heading into and out of the boat launch area. We all had drinks and they were well prepared and cold. The food was excellent. There is a limited menu but the offerings are excellent. Our lunches were crab cake dinner, tacos, flat bread pizza and a burger. The atmosphere makes this rustic eatery standout. Open air dining in the boat harbor area with cold drinks and good food. It doesn't get much better for lunch.

The sandwiches at the Foster House are the best in the area. They are better than famed Primanti Brothers. My favorite is the King Chicken.

I posted much earlier on this restaurant and was truly impressed...and am even happier to say that the Barbes are getting even BETTER with time and experience. This rivals any southern rib/brisket shack! That's a real compliment! We have been going since they opened and can see that the service and attention to detail gets even better with time. We now have another prime choice of places to eat in Charleroi. I love that we have a variety of choices now. All of our friends love this BBQ joint, too. Not fancy-just good! Fine for take-out, kids, and now with the addition of a ramp, handicapped folks. Have not had a bad thing on the menu...but I'd love for some real mayo southern slaw with Duke's Mayo. Everything is yummy, folks. From dryrub to super saucy, it's finger lickin' good. Or as the real down home boys say, "It's so good it'll make you smack your Momma!" Natalie & Dan K.

My husband and I had an early dinner here on a Tuesday night. It was almost empty. We started with mussels, supposed to be a pound, but didn't seem like it. They were tasty. We also got potato soup, watery and bland. I had the salmon dinner with salad and sweet potato fries. Salad was not fresh.Lettuce was brown and wilted, also cucumbers. Sweet potato fries were burnt. Salmon was ok, but quite small for a dinner portion. Husband got the antipasto salad, would have been good, but it was drenched in the dressing. Food was Definitely Overpriced for the quality. Also overcharged for the salmon?Vicky ... I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment in the food quality of your dinners. I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised to hear this but regardless will speak to my manager and kitchen staff that were on that night. Our salads are a huge seller for us and are made fresh to order. We turn over our product so fast that we shouldn't have any wilting or browning (same with the cucumbers), but perhaps there were a few brown pieces in the new mix that my salad person didn't see it. The mussels are pre-weighed at a pound and portioned on a scale by our chef. I suppose it may be hard to judge by the eye. The salmon that we purchase is a high quality piece of fish and we are addressing the size with our vendor. Like you, we have noticed some of the salmon sizes are smaller than others. I assure you that I will bring your comments to my staff and also, talk to your waitress. We hope that you will come back and try us again and please don't hesitate to bring your concerns up with our waitstaff or my manager. We would like the opportunity to fix anything that you're not happy with. All my best and thank you for bringing this to my attention.

This was our first time at Lagerheads. Nice clean restaurant/bar. The restaurant is separated from the bar area which is nice. It was busy for a Wednesday evening. The waitress was very friendly & attentive. Nice menu selection. I had pizza & wings which were very good, husband & son had the burgers & fries which they said were also very good & friend had a fish sandwich that she liked. Wide range of age groups. Interior of the restaurant is well decorated .Definitely will return.

Ryes is a very nice place to have a nice meal. I only ate there once when another local place was closed, but we will go back next time we are in town.

Made my first visit to Paciâs recently. The one item that hit all the notes for me was the ghost soup. If you like a little spice in your food this soup will not disappoint. It was extremely flavorful and creamy with just enough ghost pepper flavor to warmly tingle your tastebuds without being overpowering. I would come back for the soup alone.
