Oil City is a city in Venango County, Pennsylvania, that is known in the initial exploration and development of the petroleum industry. went here to catch up with old friends. was a good location for such a visit. Is a local establishment - Staff was friendly and helpful and didn't make us feel rushed. Great burgers and beer. :)
This bar is Ok if you get there early and leave early on the weekends. The owners are nice and the bar staff is very good. only trouble is the crowd can get pretty rough and out of control. I have seen several fights, and if you're like me and have a career you enjoy and don't want a criminal record its a good idea to get out before everyone gets drilled!
Northside Eatery offers a variety of fancier sandwiches compared to its average competitors. The food was good but some members definitely needed to add more spice. The prices are overly inflated and not worth the price they are asking for the food. If you are a sandwich lover, you may want to check this place out.

This is primarily a bar, which is fine if you need a beer or something stronger. They advertise "home cooking" but their cook at home isn't up to MY standards. I've had the hamburger (overcooked and dry) and their pretzel with dip appetizer (not bad). But the steamed mussels were not unsafe to eat -- just slightly elderly and not tasty, despite their description that they are steamed in garlic butter and wine. Hardly any flavor at all.
We provide a variety of customizable Burritos, Rice bowls, Tacos, Fully loaded nachos, Quesadillas along with other Tex-Mex classics, Diffrent weekly unique speacials! A fun menu and comfortable atmosphere the whole family is sure to enjoy!
First off, I am so flipping excited this place is in oil city. This poor city has nothing anymore, and now we have something special. Customer service is outstanding! Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My hubs and I had the steak burritos. HUGE!!!! EVERYTHING was amazing. My only small critic is to ease up a bit on the salt in the guac.

Super disappointed in an overpriced tuna on plain white bread. The sides were stale tortilla chips and two pickles. Chocolate milk shake wasn't even good. Disappointing. Asked about fresh desserts only pumpkin pie.

I was disappointed the last time I got a pizza there I ordered double pepperoni and mushroom what I got was double cheese and pepperoni it was swimming in cheese. We took it back and they corrected it. This time I ordered my usual see above and I got what I wanted. The pizza is my favorite although they do have a good ham and cheese omelette that comes with coffee

We spent two evenings at this establishment talking , laughing, crying and cherishing each otherâs company. They have plenty of room for a table of two to a table of twenty . The service is impeccable and each of our waitresses was so kind and attentive.... nothing a miss . The food was good and hot when served. I would recommend the Swiss burger ( super delish ) There is parking in the front (if ya get there early enough ) but plenty in the back . This is a must go to !!!

We went to the Yellow Dog on a whim recently and were very happy that we did. Being used to great restaurants in Pittsburgh we are in search of places to go with delicious food, great service and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Yellow Dog Lantern has it all. The menu is diverse and the quality of food is outstanding. We started with martinis, both a cosmo and a dirty, both were spot on and fairly priced. We ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts. I think they call them fried but they seemed more roasted than fried and they were delicious. The salad dressing was homemade and yummy. Next was the prime rib as one entree and the north atlantic haddock as the other. Both were perfectly prepared and pleasing to the palate. All finished off with the french silk pie. Portions are very generous and the dessert menu made my mouth water. I can't wait to go back!!!
