Pottstown is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States about 40 miles (55 km) northwest of Philadelphia and 20 miles (32 km) southeast of Reading, on the Schuylkill River. Pottstown was laid out in 1752–53 and named Pottsgrove in honor of its founder, John Potts. The old name was abandoned at the time of the incorporation as a borough in 1815. In 1888, the limits of the borough were considerably extended. Pottstown is the center of a productive farming and dairying region.

This is really a takeout place which is good because eating there is not a good idea. My husband and I were in the area and stopped in for lunch. There are 4 small tables and ours came from someone's flea market with peeling paint and holes. All the food was served in plastic containers.We started with seafood hot and sour soup for 2 which was loaded with tofu and very little seafood. I counted 2 small shrimp and 2 frozen bay scallops and some imitation crab leg. Fortunately I love tofu so I took all my husband's and brought it home for dinner. The broth was tasty which was a plus.Afterwards I had General Tso shrimp which were heavily and unevenly battered, a first for me. After I removed the batter, the shrimp were a good size and tasty, so that came home as well.My husband's shrimp lo mein was so-so without many shrimp.The best part of the meal was my fortune cookie. See the message in the picture."Aren't you glad you had a great meal?"

Let's face it, we are restaurant snobs. We support a restaurant until it lets us down. Increasing prices does not necessarily kill your relationship with a restaurant, diminished quality of the food that is served is a game-changer. King Wok was once a place that you could count on for good, sometimes great Chinese cuisine. Over the last months, there seems to have been a change in management or operational focus. Our recent experience is a game-changer. You expect crisp vegetables, fresh meats and poultry as components of your dish. This seems to have escaped the folks running the restaurant. It is time to move on to other restaurants who understand that they are judged with every meal.

The won ton soup is my favorite. Second to that, everything on menu is very good. Prices are low to moderate and portions are huge, enough for lunch the next day. Friendly staff and never crowded.

These guys have great Chinese food. Mongolian Beef is the best in town. Sweet and Sour chicken & shrimp are very good & lo mien iis great too. Definitely worth checking out. It's a family run business & they are friendly & courteous.

We visited before noon on a weekday and were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was prompt. The server was polite. The menu has family-friendly prices with a lot of variety. There is a big parking. Other retail shops share space here. This restaurant is conveniently located off of the highway-100.

We first tried this place recently and were pleasantly surprised. I was happily surprised to see some tofu dinners listed. While I am not a vegetarian, I do enjoy tofu . I got a combo platter I hadn't seen elsewhere and loved it. Everything we tried, we enjoyed. It's right near my house so it's convenient for pick up. We got take out, but there is seating inside.

Looking to get an after drink we walked over to. SAKURA. It's a BYOB so no drinks. But our husbands hit up the local state store and they returned with wine and saki. We ordered a combo off the menue as I had wanted sushi for dinner. The food was delicious. We were not hassled as we stayed until close.
