If you're getting takeout, be sure to check your order before you leave the restaurant. The place is about a mile or so from us and they consistently blow the order. When we call and complain, their typical response is, "Oh, we'll give it to you next time!" The food is good but if you don't want to make a second trip, Check your order before you leave! You have been warned.

There is nothing bad I can say. I've had the walnut shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, General's chicken, wontons,,all yummy! Never had a bad experience, all good. I live almost 30 minutes away and visit at least 4 times a year. Always look forward to the visit.

I ordered General Tso's chicken meal for $10.50 from Tang's, since this is a newer place and close to where I live. Of course, like any Chinese place, the portions were huge, and with mine I can get 3 full meals out of, but I found that the Tso's sauce tasted a bit plasticy. The service was nice though, and the guy I ordered from was nice to talk to and explained everything well which was nice. But I thought the food was OK.

We went at the recommendation of a local and were very pleased with the authentic dishes. When they use #4 for heat, believe that it is not an American palate #4. ;) The Hot Sauce Style was a terrific dish, full of flavor and spicy! The Double Cooked style chicken was our favorite; a bit salty, but a deeper, richer flavor. The egg rolls, unfortunately, were standard. The Wontons in chili oil must be a signature dish and is another we will enjoy again.

Ever asked that age old question? Chinese or pizza for dinner? If you reduced your dinner options to just those two things, sounds like you know what you are getting. China Star is no different, you know what your getting. The food is fairly fresh but unremarkable in the sense if you are looking for that one dish that just says "yeah, I have to have that again!", um probably not your place but then like I mentioned you know what you're getting. The Fried Rice is Fried Rice, the Beef With Vegetables is Beef with Vegetables. If you know Chinese fast food and have had Chinese before from a Chinese restaurant, be happy if you get a clever fortune cookie to end your meal. If you hankering for the familiar in Chinese take out, China Star will do the trick and placate your taste buds. "Why yes dear, this certainly tastes like Chinese." Soy Sauce or Duck Sauce? Enjoy

This is our go to spot for Chinese food. Food is fresh and not oily like a lot of Chinese restaurants. Love the wanton soup and the chicken or shrimp with vegetables. Restaurant is clean and friendly, although simple furnishings and decor. My family has eaten here for many many years.

We were very impressed by the efficient service, fresh food, and good values. This is a BYO restaurant and they were most accommodating. It was nice to bring our favorite wine of choice and not be limited to their choices. This is a good feature of their restaurant, and a solid reason we will return again.
