Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, that features endless servings of ï¬ame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as well as an extravagant salad area with a wide array of seasonal chef-crafted items.
I wasn't expecting much as I've been to a few pretty great Brazilian steakhouses. But I have to say this one is the best. Their salad bar and soup choices are limited, but I go there for the meat so that doesn't really bother me. The steaks selections are plenty and I can tell they are quality meat. Pork and Sausage selections are just ok, so I would recommend sticking with the beef. But if you're a beef lover, you would want to be here!

We had a nice dinner here. We did not have a reservation, so they sat us the bar area. It was comfortable there, and we had a lovely waiter. Food was good, but a bit pricey for what it is. We were celebrating our anniversary, so the waiter brought us a free creme brûlée, which was very nice.

Food and service was very good would definitely return when in the area, menu is a little limited, I know this is a steak house but a few pasta options maybe an idea.

Usually have had great experience at Texas Roadhouse including few times at this one. Arrived at 6 pm to have waitress tell us no Prime Rib, strike one although understand stock can run out. Strike two both strip steaks burned on ends. Strike three manager asked for free appetizer to make all better, if we wanted appetizers would have ordered it. Will not ever go back to this one.

We wanted a nice sit-down dinner on our last night of a long Steelers weekend. Steak & seafood are both featured here & we had a little of both. Our waitress connected with us immediately -- it was a quiet Sunday evening. She was welcoming & carefully explained the menu, each unique item & especially appreciated -- she said the sides should be plentiful if we had 2 -3. The shrimp was a preparation I had never had, swordfish was meaty, steak & lobster rocked ! Lemon drop martinis added bonus as the bartender had a heavy hand.

With the popularity of farm-to-table, global cuisine, boutique restaurants, sometimes the classic steakhouse gets overlooked. While I seek out small, creative, independently owned restaurants, sometimes I just want a good old steak. Capital Grill is one if my favorites in any city and the Pittsburgh location did not disappoint. My husband and I only sit at the bar when dining out. This is a nice size bar with that old steakhouse feel. Our bartender was great and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails before opening a bottle of wine to air out before dinner. We had calamari for an appetizer and it was excellent. My husband and I each had a ribeye steak, cooked perfectly rare and shared the lobster Mac & cheese. It was a great meal and great experience. Highly recommend!
