Service was slow, no cutlery on the table, etc. and had to ask for it, but the food, when it finally arrived, was excellent. It was so slow we were actually thinking of leaving. The restaurant was not crowded, so it should not have taken that long. Portions are generous, as is use of "expensive" ingredients (avocado, bacon, etc.). The half salad/half sandwich was really too much food. Iced tea is mediocre, but coffee is terrific. Everything was fresh, the right temperature, etc. Definitely will return for the food. We were sitting next to two servers (former servers?) having lunch and a third server came and sat down beside them. They were quite loud and sort of moved in on our table space. We were delighted when they left, and we could enjoy our lunch without the loud conversation. One of the more senior staff should be paid more attention to what was happening.Need to patrol the bathroom a little more frequently, but we are there at the end of the lunch hour, so probably had been in heavy use. It felt perfectly clean, just messy.

Stopped in at Plaza Azteca for an early dinner. It's in a shopping center that has several good restaurants and cafe type eateries. But have not tried this place. When we got there it was devoid of people, but strike that up to the time of day we were there. 4:30 pm. The hostess was very friendly and escorted us to a large booth. Our waiter, Joaquin was on the spot and asked our drink order. A little early for cocktails, so we went the soft drink route. He returned immediately and we gave our dinner orders. I went for the chicken fajitas and my fiancee, the chicken burrito. They give you freshly made tortilla chips and their own homemade salsa which were both delicious. Our food arrived in quick time and the fajitas were awesome and my dates burrito perfection. The cost was reasonable and it was happy hour at the bar, so we decided to walk the five feet and try our luck with one of their margaritas. That's when our visit when horribly wrong. It was 5:45 by then and we were two of only four people at the bar. Even so, the bartender was oblivious to our existence. The other two people were on the other side of the bar and he kept his back to us. It took a good 15 minutes for him to finally come over and ask for our orders, no sorry, excuse the wait and then he gave us our margaritas. I understand they are only $5 and happy hour drinks, but they were incredibly lacking in tequila. When we were done our drinks we again had to wait another 15 minutes to be asked if we wanted another. Being gluttons for punishment we did order two more drinks. By this time a woman joined the other bartender. I thought, "Okay. Better service." Was I an idiot. She was even worse. Did not pay attention to us, didn't even speak to us and the drinks she made were of the more premium variety and still stunk. My final analysis. The restaurant side has great wait staff and food. Stay away from the bar. They are the worst I have ever been to. No really. The worst. Stay clear.

Stopped in for a bite after a visit to the local Farmers Market across the street. It was a beautiful day and Happy Hour so we ordered the HH Nachos and Empanadas with drinks and sat outside. The setting was delightful but service was way slow due to a large party inside. The Nachos were tasteless, no chili or meat; empanadas decent. Server Allie was attentive and delightful. Bill came to $18 not including tip which was a good value. Will most likely return since the setting is so nice but will also probably try something else to eat.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Been over 10 years since last visited a OTB, in New Jersey. Had a lunch of select your "favorite 3". Got a crispy taco (beef), one chicken enchilada and one cheese and onion enchilada. Standard spicy rice and refried beans as sides. Salsa had a pleasant zingy flavor without to much heat.Just as tasty as I remembered from a decade ago.

Food was great, not too spicy and a fun place to be. The service was prompt and what was also important to us is that the area appeared safe.
