Reviews on Thai food in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, United States. Wilkes-Barre serves as the county seat for Luzerne County, an area containing not one, but four of Pennsylvania's State Parks. Whether its fishing in Frances Slocum State Park, whitewater rafting through Lehigh Gorge State Park, cross-country skiing across Nescopeck State Park, or exploring twenty-two waterfalls at Ricketts Glen State Park, there is something for every outdoors enthusiast. If the indoors is more your thing, the city is also home to the Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs casino.

I've been here multiple times and I have never been disappointed. I frequently order the Drunken Noodles (I'm addicted!) since I LOVE spicy food. I've tried a few of the appetizers (can't remember exactly which ones) and the fried cheesecake. Really really good food and extremely reasonable prices.Free parking in the parking garage right next door.

Oh wow. I can't. I can't even begin to explain to you how absolutely AMAZING this place was. Atmosphere. Service. Above all: food. Each exceeding excellence. And I'm a tough critic when it comes to late night Chinese food, believe me. We came on a quiet night that could have led to an awkward meal, but as soon as we asked our server (who also runs the joint) what her favorite sushi roll is, we had quite the evening! She introduced us to food we never would have tried by simply looking at the menu (especially in NEPA): Kani salad, sushi with 'BBQ' eel, a literal banana boat. All things we would now get again and again. And again. The Mongolian beef came out on a sizzling skillet. The sushi plate was decorated with a little tree and foliage. Even down to something as simple as white rice; again, amazing! If you have any doubts, throw them away immediately and get over to Tang's! You honestly will not be sorry. Tell Suny 'Hi'!

We were here again a few weeks ago and it was excellent. Thai Thai never lets us down. I had The Pad Cashew Nut with Chicken and it was delicious. Pad Cashew is sauteed with fresh garlic, black pepper, mushrooms, carrots and scallions. My Wife had The Shrimp Pad Pak and loved it. Pad Pak is broccoli, baby corn, carrots, mushrooms, napa cabbage and string beans sauteed in a brown sauce. The service was great as always. It's BYOB and they have everything you need like openers, ice and glasses with no charge. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. The prices are great. It's very clean. You can often street park in front of the restaurant but if there is nothing available the parking lot you enter on West Northampton Street has spots near Thai Thai.
