Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for its expertly prepared steaks, which are dry-
We were celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday (her "first choice" restaurant for dinner!) and our meal was wonderful. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the extra touches for our daughter were appreciated (personalized card, with some confetti on the table, and a special dessert sampler). We have eaten at several Capital Grille locations, but this one stands out as one of our better experiences. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal - when one of the steaks had to be sent back to cook just an extra minute (literally a minute), a side dish we had been contemplating was sent out (free of charge) to compensate. Yes, it's expensive... But perfect for a celebration. Great upscale "chain" steakhouse in Philly. Just a side note: This restaurant is directly across the street from the Ritz Carlton, so super easy for hotel guests (it worked perfectly for us!) And the bar area seemed to be popular - nice atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!

Gargantuan cuts of prime beef, extra thick chops, and simply prepared fresh seafood are the straightforward offerings of this steakhouse that evokes the supper clubs of Manhattan in the 1940's. Leopard print carpeting, black lacquered walls trimmed in bra
The place is quite elegant, there is a well stocked bar and the tables are in a large room with sumptuous furniture and decoration. The menu is full of intriguing choices but I selected the place for the meat, so I went for the signature rib cut and the corn off the cob. The âlook and feelâ was extraordinary: the meat was so tasty and tender that I was astounded. Even the corn was super excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and efficient and everything was top notch. Definitely worth every penny, highly recommended!

Having heard raves reviews from friends regarding this restaurant, we took our chances on a late Sunday afternoon. We had a problem finding the actual site but after finally finding our way through the winding lanes, we were quite pleasedâright on the scenic Delaware across from the Philadelphia Airport. The elegantly decorated restaurant was fullâindoors and outdoors. The indoor dining room noise level was almost deafening so we opted for the outside veranda on this beautiful, but very warm evening. While waiting for our dinner, we were entertained by a soloist with accompaniment and the arriving planes--within minutes of each other, that strangely enough were barely heard. For dinner, we shared a rather large tomato caprese as a starter. My crab cake was full of lump crab meat. My companionâs crabby delight was a mélange of seafood. We enjoyed both. The upcharge on the wine was steep but our Sauvignon blanc was worth it. All topped off by sharing a slice of key lime pie for dessert. The restaurant had adequate parking despite the crowd that evening. Try it--youâll like it.

For a little whole in the wall place, you can get an outstanding cheesesteak here. It's right near the Septa trolley depot and it open late night. So if you get the drunken munchies or just want a darn good Philadelphia cheesesteak, Falone's is your place. They have other things to eat there that are good also like the french fries and the hoagies. Oh and Falone's makes a thick and creamy milkshake that you have got to try if you ever go there. I would stay away from the burgers though. That frozen round disk is just not good at all.

I canât fault this place for a very special night. The atmosphere and surroundings are wonderful. The menu has several great choices. My group of 6 all ordered seafood appetisers and steaks- each one was beautifully presented and the different steaks were all perfectly cooked and very tasty. The side dishes are great. We did not have room for desert. The wine menu is very extensive and the sommelier was very knowledgeable

My oh my! First time to have wagyu and it's well worth it. Hopefully I never find myself requesting my last meal, but if I do, it'll be the Wagyu New York Strip from Barclay Prime. Also had the truffle whipped potatoes and mushrooms. Amazing! The service was impeccable. Our server was Jessica Hahn and she was fabulous. It was our anniversary and they even brought out a dessert with a Happy Anniversary in chocolate syrup on the plate. Be prepare to make a reservation ahead and if you order Wagyu, be prepared for a big price tag. It's worth it though. You can dress up super nice, business casual, or even all the way casual. I think business casual is best.
