Just outside Reading/Lancaster PA...Diner food creativity is big city feel, in local, casual-clean atmosphere. but be sure to check their hours of operation. Typically close by 2-3PMEnjoyed speaking with owners and learning how they celebrate birthdays here. You will have to just see for yourself. If you are trying to eat healthy, and your family and friends donât care, this is where âyou all can enjoy eatingâ well.

Near the Cloister historic site in Ephrata is the Cloister Restaurant, an Amish-owned cafe whose breakfasts are memorable...sausage, fresh eggs, warmed stickey buns to die for and local specialities like feathery biscuits with sausage gravy. The cooks are Amish and you'll see them through the swinging kitchen doors .

We went here for our 12th anniversary. Very disappointed in the meal. Everything was so very very greasy i couldn't eat it. Girl at cash out asked if everything was good, so i told her no, and explained. She never said or did anything, what a sad meal Paid 60.00 for a greasy crappy meal/ Will never return.

Dave's Diner serves up the good ole' American classics. We are a local spot that serves up great food and great service. We have a fantastic breakfast special and lots of great tasting items on our menu that will satisfy any palate. Stop in for breakfast,
It's a small old diner. Open for breakfast and lunch only. We waited a short time for a table to become available. Service and food were great. Cash only seems weird in today's life style, but there were at least three signs I noticed that stated that fact. Breakfast for two was only $19. I think every traveler has at least that much cash with them. There is an on site ATM if you need it. Want to go back and try lunch.

Started with a very good cup of Maryland Crab Soup after which I had the stuffed chicken breast with a side of peas...great like-home-cooked taste and just the right amount of food! Satisfying w/o leftover take-home at a very affordable price! The four of us were well pleased with our orders! I had a large decanter of fine coffee I couldn't finish! My wife and I ate for twenty five dollars including a five dollar tip!

We were camping and woke up Monday morning to a deluge...piled in the car in search of a dry breakfast. Parking lot was full, however it is spacious and we did not have to wait. Prompt service with our drinks and orders. Food delivered promptly and hot. But typical diner breakfast. My husband ordered sausages hoping for a local taste but they were just typical links--nothing special. Breads limited to the basic three--white rye and wheat. I had a western omelet with homefries...again nothing special. They only creative options on the menu were build your own omelettes and a variety of pancakes...banana, chocolate chip, etc Prices were reasonable.
