Another restaurant off my list, never to return.Subtitle - why can't we have any good Chinese in the area? This area used to be full o good Chinese restaurants. When I was a kid, we used to go for Chinese all the time and had a variety of places from which to choose. Today, there is nothing! That's not quite true, the place in the shopping center at Davisville and County Line Roads in Huntingdon Valley is good. It's called Asian Taste, we go there often with my mother but, it's far for a weeknight meal and we were especially late last night.Last night was Alicia's birthday and we did not expect her home. A last minute change of plans had her on a train and we said "let's do Chinese for her birthday". We had celebrated the day before but, since she was a small child, Alicia has mastered the art of the 6-day birthday extravaganza. It's ok, it's who she is and we've come to expect and appreciate it.We went to Zhou's House on Mill Creek Rd in Levittown. We've been before, it's been decent and the other choices are slim to none.We started with a bunch of appetizers; chicken and beef terriyaki sticks were both horribly oversalted. Keep in mind, I LOVE salt but, my lips are still tingling. Really! Dumplings were harder fried than I like but, ok, I suppose. Egg rolls were tiny but, again, ok. Scallion pancakes were good and boneless spare ribs were outstanding. For entrees we had string beans with roast pork and black bean sauce; Chicken Chow Fun and Sesame Beef. The string beans and Chow Fun seemed like they were cooked in a too cool pan; no evidence of fry, Chow Fun was almost soupy and slimy. Flavors were ok but, ... Sesame Beef was horrible. It was fried to a hard crust, almost like a hardtack biscuit on the outside with meat under it. The crust literally chipped away from the meat. When the waitress/owner came over and asked how everything was, I told her the sesame beef was terrible, I gave it back to her and everybody left what they had taken on their plates. When the bill came and the dish was still on at $13.75, I asked why? I did not understand her answer but, she took $5 off. I said "we didn't eat it and it was terrible". No matter. So, I did not leave her the $15 tip I would have otherwise left and I vowed to never return.Back to the original question; why can't we have any good Chinese food in this area?

Ordered take out for the family. The food was reasonably priced when compared to other local chinese restaurants. We ordered shrimp with broccoli, Gerneral Tso, crab rangoon, and egg rolls. The order was hot and prepared quickly.Unfortunately, all of the food was quite saltly.

If you want Chinese food in Levittown, there's one place to call... Hing Wah. Our entire family swears by this place. It is a hands-down must-have at least once a week. Every dish tastes wonderful. And the eggrolls and crab rangoon? The best we have ever tasted. Prices can't be beat, either.

This was our first time here and we were really impressed. They have a big selection of Chinese, Japanese and Thai food. It's very nicely decorated and very clean. The service was wonderful. The food was awesome all the way around. We shared the boneless BBQ spareribs and Dragon Roll for our appetizer. The Dragon Roll is AWESOME! I had the Maki Dinner and my husband had the Double Delight with garlic sauce. Both were really good. The Double Delight had big shrimp and scallops! We will definitely be back.

We've had there food before when we first moved into town. They are quite expensive but they do have a large menu to try. We decided to try eating inside. They are decorated really cute and the place is always busy. The waitress seemed to be working the whole restaurant and we felt bad. We ordered and our food came out relatively quickly, and it was good. Prices are still high. You really don't get much for what you are paying. Later in the night I regretted eating there, as I had stomach issues as did my husband. Will not be going back.

It's surprisingly popular (and the TripAdvisor ratings are quite high), but it's not really Chinese food; it's the carby, sweet & salty stuff that some Americans think is Chinese food. (Think Pupu Platters, Crab Rangoon, sweet & sour fried shrimp.) So if you like all that, you'll probably be happy here, but if you actually want Chinese food, stay away.Big portions, medium prices.Toilets are pretty dirty.
