The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils.Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. El Tule was previously the home of another restaurant offering Mexica
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a small room with colorful artwork all around. Outside are tables with umbrellas. It has one unisex bathroom. The food was very good and the portions were nice sized. Highly recommend the Peruvian Sample appetizer if you want a mix of flavors to try. It is plenty for 2-3 people. The guacamole is also excellent. The table comes with chips and some small sauces for dipping. The seafood relleno and the skirt steak were fantastic. The inside room is small and can get loud. It is good for a group or a more casual dining experience. The service was average at best. The staff is friendly but really needs training. Multiple servers were not familiar with the menu, so if you don't know this genre of food, it can be a challenge. (We decided not to try the guinea pig!) They also don't have down the basics of providing a menu, when to check back on patrons, among other things. We'll definitely go back again for the food, but temper expectations on the service. It is a BYOB establishment.
Where to eat Mexican food in New Hope: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Following the reincarnation of Cucina Tortuga into Aztlan Mexican Grill, the menu may have changed slightly, but the quality and freshness of the food remain. Lots of choices for vegetarians and non-meat eaters. Authentic Mexican and a subsection for "Tex-Mex." Drinks still obtained from (the separate) Mitchell's, the bar in front of the restaurant. Never fail to bring home half our dinner for later in the week! Best Mexican in Lambertville.

Very authentic and delicious food. It's a bit run down, but the best spot is the patio in the back in the summer. Service is friendly. I had nachos and enchiladas. Both were excellent. It's a BYOB but a liquor store (with beer) is right around the corner.

Tried this place on a whim, and it was delicious. The place is small and the food did take about 25 minutes to prepare but it was fresh and worth the wait. Authentic and flavorful. Sorry but the reviewers who says this place has no flavor must be used to basic tex mex or taco bell! The service is friendly and the food was one of the better places we have tried in the area! We certainly will be back. It is a BYOB so remember you can bring your beverages!... Bring a bottle of wine or stop at Great Barn Tap Room and get a growler of craft beer...
Do you enjoy the Mexican & Peruvian cuisine served at El Tule in Lambertville and Quinoa in Doylestown? If so, be sure to visit our newest location, Lima Fusion at the New Ferry Market in New Hope! Be prepared to experience our trendy Latin American fusio
I decided to try Peruvian food, of all the choices at the New Hope food court. Lima Fusionâs squash soup was very tasty with a slightly spicy finish and topped with a touch of queso. The vegetarian empanada was filled with mushrooms and was moist enough to not need the accompanying mayonnaise-based dipping sauce. A good lunch deal at $8.50 for both.
