It may be an out of the way place,but definitely worth visiting. The food is always fresh and delicious. Love the lamb,grape leaves and garlic salad. The service is always great and we always have a wonderful meal when dining here.

After reading the reviews and having someone tell me about this place I finally managed to stop by. Sad to say......we were very disappointed. I ordered the Tabouli, and I have had a lot better, especially in New Castle. The grape leaves were just that...grape leaves with very little filling. The lamb was served lukewarm but I will give them credit for at least it being cooked as requested.....medium. I understand the place use to be a Taco Bell and with the lack of décor it resembled a higher priced Middle Eastern Fast Food experience, if there is such a thing. I would also have to say the waitress was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. I really don't like giving negative reviews but it didn't measure up to several other local establishments.Thank you for your opinion. We are sorry our services did not meet your expectations. The restaurant looks very pretty and looks out onto a little creek. Service was HORRIBLE! One nasty older woman for the whole restaurant. Took our drink order. Dropped them off. Took our dinner order and was gone from the table, we didn't have time to ask her any questions. We ordered three dinners. She only brought out two... but again, left so fast, we never even got to tell her she forgot stuff. Then we had to hunt her down for silverware. She said, "Did you drop them?" We responded, "No- we never had them." Then she was a bit more humble.. It was my sons birthday and we had hoped for cake, but she brought our bill without asking. She did leave a $5 gift card for "next time". But there won't be a next time.The Baba Ghanouj wasn't edible. It tasted "off". The grape leaves were bad and gummy. The chicken and rice was really greasy. I had been a fan of Elhams when in the Lawrence Village Plaza and preferred their food over others.... but save yourself some time. If you want middleeastern food- go to Mary's.Hello, I am the owner and I want to extend my apologies to you. We pride ourselves in our food and culture .
