We visited Viet Thai at their new location at York County Shopping Center. It never bothered us to eat at the old venue, but this one has more space. Our meals were delicious, fresh and plentiful. The prices here are so reasonable. I had coconut soup (lick-the-bowl-delicious), a huge spring roll, and this time went with chicken pad thai instead of being more adventurous. My meal with both apps was $13 and I took half the pad thai home for later. We really enjoy the meals at similar restaurants in the area, but in our humble opinion, we find the value and food can't be beat at Viet Thai. The service was great and staff is helpful with any questions we had. My first choice will always be Viet Thai, which was once Market Street Cafe/Viet Thai. We would love if they reopened the old venue too.

Just had another wonderful dinner at my favorite thai restaurant in York pa. This is one spot that is a must for anyone who likes thai food, great atmosphere and really good service. And surprisingly inexpensive. Make reservations as this place gets pretty packed, especially on the weekends. Great assortment on the menu, my favorite is the sea dragon! I have not had a bad meal since I've started going to this restaurant. This place is consistantly good. Stop in and enjoy.

It was 20 degrees with high winds when we tried this restaurant for the first time. The real plus here is that I read that there is parking in the rear of the building that sits on the corner, a real plus. We walked in around lunchtime to find a table with several Indian males plus 1 other couple. It filled up quickly. I guess everyone had the same idea on a cold day, pho! Three men circulated the dining room so service was good. We ordered large bowls of pho that were packed with noodles and beef plus the plate of fresh items. We've had pho at many places in the USA as well as China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar. This was THE absolute best tasty pho ever!!! We will be back. We weren't able to finish our bowl so we were able to take the remaining soup with us in sturdy Styrofoam containers. Try something different. I tried white gourd drink which tasted almost like a brown sugar syrup but at least I tried it. One word of caution, the bill already has a 10% tip added into it when you go to the counter to pay. I overheard the Indian man ask when he paid his bill so I asked to verify that info.
