Bristol is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Center City Philadelphia, opposite Burlington, New Jersey on the Delaware River. Bristol was first incorporated in 1720. After 1834, the town became very important to the development of the American Industrial Revolution as the terminus city of the Delaware Canal providing greater Philadelphia with the days High Tech Anthracite fuels from the Lehigh Canal via Easton. The canal and a short trip on the Delaware also gave the town access to the mineral resources available in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York via each of the Morris Canal, the Delaware and Hudson Canal, and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and connected the community to those markets and trade from New York City. These were among the factors spurring development of Bristol and nearby towns, explaining in part the industries which developed in the region.

I canât recommend enough. Annabellaâs is a family favorite for special occasions. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and the owner always come to our table to make sure we are satisfied and happy with our meals. The food is always amazing. Authentic Italian, excellent pasta, portions are large, the seafood is fresh (order the mussels red...you wonât regret it!). My husband raves about the osso buco. Wonderful restaurant where you are treated like family.

Traveling through after leaving Trenton,this was recommended by a local and seeing itâs easy access from interstate,it was an easy choice.I ordered a burger and fries,steaks looked good,but pricey for a travel meal.After a steak sub style egg roll appetizer that were the standout,the burger arrived and it was okay.Nothing special,but those egg rolls were awesome.They moved so fast,I had no time to take a picture.ThoughtsofRS, thanks for the very nice review. We chose the Texas Roadhouse on Street Road to celebrate our belated 27th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday today. We both decided to have the porterhouse steak because the reviews we read on the steaks were excellent, and we were sold. However our experiences differed greatly from the majority of the positive reviews we read. We were asked to pick the steaks we wanted at the display window which featured a wide range of steaks available for customers. Unfortunately the steaks on display looked dull and old, and we opted to choose from the menu provided by the restaurant. We were then seated at a table with no plates. We were given a basket of bread but had no plates to use to butter and eat the bread. Both the porterhouse steaks we ordered were big, tender, juicy, and cooked according to our specifications but the steaks had no flavor. They had no taste and it felt as if we were eating cardboard. We were only able to eat less than a third of the steaks because they were so bad. All we tasted was the flavor of the grill on the outer portion of the steak. Our pleasant server asked us if we want to take them home but we declined. We saw he felt bad about it, but I felt even worse because this is supposed to be our 27th wedding anniversary dinner, and my wife's birthday, but we left feeling hungry and upset that we drove all the way to Street Road to celebrate our special days, and I just wasted a total of $77.81 for tasteless meals. The baked sweet potato had no sweet potato flavor .In fact the taste was overwhelmed by the taste of the brown sugar it was swimming in. The house salad also didn't have much flavor and the ingredients were not fresh. However; the ambience and the service we received were fine thanks to the professionalism provided by the staff who attended to us, but the reason we chose to go to Texas Roadhouse was for the food that people raved about in their reviews. Our only positive experience in this entire episode was the positive and professionalism of the staff members.
