Upon recommendation I tried the fried lemony tasty cauliflower and chicken gyro. It’s plentiful for one person; come hungry. Food is great and taste very much home cook. Selections are great! I am going back to try other food. There is huge outdoor seating area; inside seatings are limited; I went during off-peak hour, I had a very attentive server and everything was served promptly.

Olive Branch

The Olive Branch is a lovely treasure in South Bethlehem serving homemade traditional Levantine cuisine. It feels like you are special guests visiting family. You sense that all is made with love at the Olive Branch. Our waitress was polite and friendly. We started with Arnabit (lightly seasoned cauliflower served with tahini sauce) and Baba Gannouj (seasoned roasted eggplant) which had a wonderful hint of smokey flavor. We gobbled up the appetizers and wiped plates clean with the pita. For our entrees, two of us took advantage of the dinner special of fresh catfish served with a delicious light sauce served with a flavored rice (with a little beef) accompanied with a side salad. The other had the Falafel platter dinner which had 3 falafel patties, rice, and salad. Granted we were very pleased with out dinners, we could not pass us the array of homemade desserts ~ it was difficult to choose. The three of us shared a pot of Arabic coffee which was delightful. The homemade desserts are a true treat. We enjoyed a lovely rose-water pudding topped with crushed pistachio, freshly made moist fresh fruit cake, and outstanding Baklava. Each was outstanding! Immediately, I thought of my next visit and am SO looking forward to more delightful meals at Olive Branch. Thank you for sharing these lovely family recipes with Bethlehem!
