We held our family reunion in Tunkhannock this weekend. One of the family members recommended that we get our pizza here.We ordered 6 extra large round pizzas, with a wide variety of toppings.Everything was well prepared and everyone enjoyed the pizza. The quantity of tops were good, not skimpy like some places. They serve round pizza.

Always was put off by the old-time store-front entrance. My big mistake . Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming waitress who had no difficulty coming up with her own quips in response to those of the chef who overheard our menu questions (probably not a good place for spies); answers only assured us we had come to an authentic Italian restaurant. We ordered both a vegetarian-designed pasta dish and the potato dumplings; mmmmmmm! Sauces and pasta are homemade, some desserts from the NYC. This is the real deal folks, get there before everybody else finds out and you have to start waiting for a table. Of course this town has a vibrant artistic and historical culture that you don't want to miss, so plan to spend a day or two if you can, and don't miss the jewel of a theater on the main street.
We went on a Friday night and the service a day the pizza was great. Very friendly people, especially the owner!
