Shake Shack is a modern day "roadside" burger stand serving the most delicious burgers, fries, hot dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine and more.
My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. We ordered 2 crispy chicken sandwiches and 2 fries. No drinks. Our bill was $21.30. The chicken sandwiches were the size of sliders. We did not get the sauce on the sandwiches. There was a bit of odd slimy shredded lettuce on the sandwiches. Even without the sauce, we both ended up with minor intestinal issues after this meal. The place was dirty, with sticky tables, and not that efficient. The guy at the counter mumbled and also may have had some weird accent. We were barely able to place our order. Then you sit somewhere and wait until they call your name to go get your food. Yuck, just pick any other random fast food joint instead of this expensive mess.

#1 - I love hot dogs. I try them everywhere I travel. Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Orlando, D.C. and many smaller towns and cities.#2 - have heard for years about Pinkâs incredible hot dogs but have never been to LA.#3 - a Pinkâs recently opened in the âup-scaleâ food court at King of Prussia mall.#4 - I always try the dog that they are most famous for, in this case the âstretchâ chili cheese dog.#5 - the manager saw me looking at the menu and asked if he could be of assistance. He explained the types of dogs they had. Everyone who worked there was very pleasant and helpful.#6 - very disappointing dog. The dog extended over each end of the roll by at least an inch - that was good as it allowed me to try the meat with no toppings. There was no âsnapâ to the casing and no real taste to the meat. I expected some spices but nothing.#7 - moved on to the dog with toppings. Not sure what type of chili was used but tasted like retried beans from a can. Same texture too. The shredded cheddar cheese was ok.Summing up - this was a $6 hot dog that I feel would be overpriced at $3. The âshackagoâ dog at Shake Shack (about 50 feet away) is cheaper and a much better quality dog.Wonât be going back.

Subway at King of Prussia food court in the Plaza is now offering breakfast sandwiches all day. Tastier and much cheaper than the typical mall sit-down. Freshly made and hot off the grill. A welcome addition. Ample seating.
