My wife and I wondered in after a visit to fonthill castle. We were intrigued by the menu and the plates of other satisfied customers. I had the Magilla Gorilla-grilled chicken, sauteed spinach, mushrooms, provolone cheese, tomato slices and balsamic vinaigrette. My wife had the Betty Boop-layers of fried eggplant, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, prosciutto di Parma, with spinach artichoke.we split a tasty fudge bar. Total bill around $20.

2. Philly Pretzel Factory

While other towns (Lancaster, etc.) heavily promote their soft pretzel factories, we ended up here by accident and it was great. For $5 you get a hunk of dough, a board, a rolling pin, and a box of cookie cutters, and kids (or adults!) can make their own pretzel shapes which they will then bake for you while you wait. We got two balls of dough for three kids (ages 10, 8, and 6) and it made way more than enough pretzels for everyone - next time I would get one ball of dough and split it three ways (soft pretzels don't really keep very well, so you really only want to make as much as you're going to eat that day). This was a great experience for the kids and I was grateful that we didn't go to a bigger "factory." Located in the center of Doylestown. They also sell their own baked pretzels as well as ice cream and drinks.

I cannot believe I'm using this word to describe this place, but my bagel and cream cheese was disgusting. My egg everything bagel was burnt. I specifically asked for lightly toasted. I know they can't always do a lightly toasted by burnt? A big no no. They must use a sub par cream cheese as my veggie cream cheese was gooey. Cream cheese is not supposed to be gooey. My husband ordered a sesame bagel toasted, which turned out good, but his cream cheese which was just plain cream cheese was also gooey. It was really disgusting. The coffee was over roasted and not hot.People in the community rave about this place but I am not seeing at. This is the second time I've gone and the everything on my everything bagel fell off both times. The cream cheese was gross. The coffee wasn't hot.For a bagel place, aren't these the three things you must get right?To sum up:Bagel was burnt.Cream cheese was gooey.Coffee was over roasted and not at all hot.
