We tried the fish and Mac n cheese. The fish was very good and you get a big piece. The mac n cheese was just ok. Other people in our party had the lobster mac n cheese which they said was delicious! This place isn't very big but all in all it was decent. Our waitress was nice and we had no issues with our service.

Steel City Steak House sits at the bottom of Mosside Blvd in Monroeville, across the street from Sheetz outside of Pitcarn. I really think the restaurant could do a lot better have given a better location. Being a prior restaurant owner, location is EVERYTHING. They have given a honest effort to marketing, but I have yet to be in the restaurant when the restaurant is even half full. Each time I have been to Steel City Steak House, it's been easy to pick my own seat, because it's been empty. I am only specking of the dining room, I have not been in the bar. The bar seemed a bit too dark and drab for me and I don't like the cigarette smoke vibe. There is nothing special to say about the place, neither is there anything overly negative to say. I have gone to the steak house for a steak dinner. I can't say it was great, it was eatable. It did seem to take a bit longer than usual for a steak, given that we were the only ones in the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other restaurants in the area. The service was always friendly. We haven't had a horrible experience, but we do not have this restaurant on our restaurant rotation list. They offer coupons and discounts if you are able to find them.

I love mad mex food. Tasty satisfying reasonable price. The Goblerito makes me never want to cook thanksgiving dinner because it's all wrapped up in a perfect package. But please turn down the music. It is chronically ridiculously loud. We had to shout to our waiter and really how healthy is it for your employees? OSHA?....I will seriously just stick to. Getting takeout because it is not at all relaxing or even fun o have to shout during a meal..

Neighborhood bar and restaurant. Variety of beers on tap, happy hour Monday - Friday 4 pm - 6 pm. Weekly lunch and dinner specials. Smoker friendly.
Sorry to say that this is not the place to take your family to dinner at. It's a local bar that serves typical bar food and you will come out smelling like smoke. Food is average at best, but the wait staff is friendly. You might want to consider other choices in the area.Thank you for the review! You are correct, it is a smoking bar and not a family dining establishment. In fact, we don't allow people under 18 (21 at night) in because of it.

My brother and I stopped at Papa Rocks for pizza. I had never been there, but my brother said their food is very good. He was right on the money! The service was prompt and courteous. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It was delicious and the crust was crispy. It was an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has many more menu item, typical of an Italian/pizza parlor. They also have a full bar with entertainment during the week. Just check out their website. When I'm in that area again, I will head to Papa Rocks!

If you are looking for good causal bar food that will make everyone happy and not break the bank, here you go. Our server, Camille, was quick and friendly. My kids about died when they both realized that the âYinzerâ dogs and burgers came with Mac & cheese loaded on top. I had the chili and some really crisp zucchini strips. Prices are very reasonable. The decor could use a little help, but itâs a family bar. Iâll come back.

While the menu is ambitious, the Gateway Grill delivers good food at competative prices. Popular items include pizza and sandwiches, although the menu incldes full dinners,. most of which are wood-grilled. The lower room can be very loud, so this is not a place for an intimate dinner. It's more of a family and sports-bar atmosphere. The Grill is usually very busy, with lots of happy patrons.
