Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Lehighton. Lehighton (/li'hɑitən/) is a borough in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, United States, 77 miles (124 km) north of Philadelphia, and 54 miles (87 km) south of Scranton. In the past, it developed early industries because of water power from the Lehigh River. The Riverwalck Saloon is a very unique restaurant. We are a Smokehouse with a Rustic Saloon look. We use some of the freshest ingredients available with daily deliveries and all of our soups, sauces and condiments are made fresh daily in house. We also sm
Don't waste your time or your money this place is a joke nothing but gimmick.$9.00 for a hotdog and $15.00 for a cheesesteak need I say more. If the foodand service was good you could live with the gouge but nothing is good here.

I was looking for a place to grab a drink and some food while wandering through town on a Saturday afternoon. Oktoberfest was happening and the food menu reflected this was a nice variety. Menus were posted on door and I believe on social media (and changes pretty regularly). Grabbed a seat at the bar and decided on a cocktail called "Bottom B*tch" and later one called "Tasteful Nudes" as well as some braided pretzels w/beer mustard and cheese. You will not find Coors or Miller Lite here, only PA craft beers and spirits. Didn't see a wine menu, only cocktails and beer. Brunch drinks included Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and Bellinis. Bar staff was attentive and greeted everyone that walked in the door. I'm glad I found this small yet creative gem! Adding it to the list for a visit next time I'm back in town!

Went to this restaurant/bar because it seemed the most interesting in the area. Huge mistake. The waitstaff was very nice, knowledgeable, but more attuned to locals. Two of us ordered off the specials menu and three from the regular menu. The two of us who ordered the specials (stuffed cabbage) barely made it home before becoming violently ill. The sides (mac & cheese, boiled cabbage, french fries) were all terrible.
We revisited the former Lizard Creek Tavern (now pub) last night for dinner. Their menu consists of some old favorites such as the backwoods burger and new dishes such as calamari and honey dipped chicken. The prices are reasonable, the food is done well, vast beer selection for the area, and the staff was pleasant enough. I recommend checking it out.

We stopped here before a show at Penns Peak. The bar is small inside but very open. The food was delicious and the beer was cold! Like it says a dive bar without the trashy inside. Check it out you will not be disappointed. I had the Pittsburger and risotto cakes. Delicious!! Service was great as well..

We stayed at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, and this restaurant is attached right off the entrance into the lobby. We had dinner here on our first night in town and two breakfasts on the subsequent days, using vouchers from the Inn to support part of the check. Our dinners were fine but ânothing to write home aboutâ. The Harissa chicken over rice was slightly spicy and quite filling. Cedar salmon looked good, and the short rib pappardelle received good reviews. Although it seems to be part of the hotel, there is no room charge availability.

When we converted our former restaurant, Platz's Inn, to P.J. Whelihan's Lehighton, we kept the historic charm, upgraded the technology and added an awesome outdoor deck. The result is a great mix of neighborhood pub charm, with an expanded menu featuring
My wife and I were in the area a hungry for Platz's hot wings and shrimp. She's like the hot n honey I like the hot. We split the 20 piece order. Our waitress was Brianna. Only disappointment was the celery with our blue cheese was something that should not have been served, so we mentioned it and got it replaced w edible celery. I like the copper lauger house brew which is reasonable in prize at $4 for 22oz. Nice place, good food. Reasonably priced.Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. We value our customers and like to hear what they have to say. Glad you enjoyed your visit and food and that celery issue was resolved...... Hope to see you on your next visit!

Visited for dinner during the Fall Foliage Festival. We had a long wait, but that was probably due to the festival crowds. They will take your number and text you when it's your turn, so it means you can still explore town while you wait. The place is smaller than expected. When it was our turn we were seated outside and had to share a table with another group. The table wasn't overly crowded, but it would have been nice to sit by ourselves. The food and drinks were good, especially the mulled wine. Service was friendly and accommodating. Gluten-free options were limited, but I was able to find something to eat that I really enjoyed. Definitely recommend.

Established in 2016. Bonnie & Clyde Pub and Grill boasts a 1930âs atmosphere. We offer 36 drafts, over 70 craft bottles, specialty cocktails, and a wide variety of local and imported wine. We offer a full menu with plenty to choose from. To die for burger
Wonderful, diverse menu and friendly, helpful staff. Where else can you get a delicious ostrich steak???? Spouse loved it. I had one of the night's specials for October - sauerbraten with red cabbage and spaetzel. Great taste, although the sauerbraten wasn't as tender as most we've had. Still enjoyed it, though. Great beer selection.
