Stopped by for early dinner. One server for about 8 filled tables. Had to seat ourselves...nobody around and girl at bar did nothing. Wanted to order. Waited for drinks. Waited for appetizer. Waited for food. Waited for bill. Waited for receipt. Theyâre not in any kind of hurry. One server! Ordered the top steak and was disappointed...too much fat, tasted ruined, old. Must make profits from bar. Will not return...not customer attentive.
Let me start by saying that this is a bar. They do serve alcohol and people do smoke inside. Now that has been said, they do have seating outside at a few tables that do have umbrellas to block some of the sun. When you want to order you have to order inside. They will give you your drink of choice then and will then bring your meal outside to you when it is ready. I had the cheese burger. It was very good and came with fries. I would absolutely order it again. The meal including the tea with it was less than $7. They have standard bar foods so if there is a typical bar food that you like they will probably have it there. My friends and I were cycling along the Great Allegheny Passage and this was a good place for us to stop for lunch along our 50 mile day. The staff also filled all of our water bottles (7 of them) with some ice and fresh water for free. They didn't have to do that but they did and that alone is worth something to those along the trail.
We dined at Clancy's with a group of 7. It is a neighborhood bar, so it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. The menu offers a big variety with lots of choices. Our favorite item was the chicken wings. They were hot and crispy, and could be ordered with seasoned salt and/or a variety of sauces. Sides were also tasty. We will definitely return next time we're in the area. The service was a bit slow, but tolerable.
Was really looking forward to trying this place. Walked in and apparently everybody was smoking. That's too bad because the menu looked good and the place seemed decent. How owners can serve food where everyone smokes is beyond me.
This is possible the worst restaurant I have ever dined at, the food was undercooked and tasted awful, also the staff were extremely rude and the waiting time for the food took forever, I feel like I have aged 10 years waiting for that shocking meal, do not recommend
Very good fresh cooked homemade food, the burgers are excellent and made fresh every day. This place has daily specials that are very reasonable and an area for dining away from the bar.

We stopped in for lunch yesterday and were impressed with the interior layout. We were greeted by our waitress very quickly with menu in hand. The menu has a great amount of options, as they say, from soup to nuts. Since we did not have hours to spend we went with the all American favorite, cheesburgers and fries. Our orders came and the food was very good. The service, food, and cool interior is great! The only fault for us was the portion sizes. The burgers were small, the larger order of fries was big enough for one, and $5.00 for two glasses of soda was a bit much. The cost of the lunch will not break our bank but when I write a review I compare the establishment to other's we have visited. Please understand that this is a great tavern but not really one that we will revisit. Our fav remains the Beach House in Finleyville, just a few miles away. Rich and Dr. Linda W.

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
I know this is a heresy around here but Iâm not a Primanti Bros. fan. Their huge sandwiches not withstanding, the fries get cold and soggy quickly, the slaw is nearly tasteless, and the service slow. To top it off the room was noisy even though it was only about 1/3 full, the decor was old looking and everything was dingy, including the glasses and silverware.

I've been passing by Elliot's Barbeque for over three years, and on a Saturday afternoon, I did a U-turn and stopped for lunch. I was thrilled with the food. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. I usually don't ever concede defeat to a sandwich, but I had to ask for a container to take about one-third home. It was great pulled pork on a big bun. I like going to places like this for cole slaw. I was not disappointed. Really good textire, not too coarse, not to fine, just right. I asked about the recipe, it is made on-site. It tasted very much like the slaw recipe that is used at the local parish's fish fry that everyone raves about, at at my church, it cannot be confirm nor denied that we have obtained that recipe. I sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon, and had a draft while waiting for my food. The staff was coming in for dinner, and they were all pleasant. But what was remarkable was the cook coming out and proposing a combo special for the evening, and proposing a price. Holy Smokes ! ! If I didn't have a prior commitment, I would have return home, loaded up the car and said that we're going out a day early for Father's Day to go back for the rib eye steak and barbeque rib special. I will go back. Definitely. Not a fancy place, just to go back to get some good food with some good people.

Stopped for lunch on 1/8. After navigating a icy parking lot and sidewalk, we were the only diners around 1pm. I have been here before when busy and never noticed a timing issue. We ordered an app, and dinners with salads. The whole process took about 45 in to 1 hour to receive the third course of dinner. I realize the items are made to order but there should be a faster sequence of delivery.Clams/linguini and meatloaf were good. The fried mushrooms had the taste of unfiltered fry oil, easy fix. Salads with cucumbers had the appearance of freezer burn. Thats where the produce fridge is running a little too cold and they freeze overnight. Tomatoes had the taste of freezer burn, and some lettice also had the appearance. Other than that rolls were hot a fresh and drinks were refilled non-stop. Good place, they just need to be on the ball in the dining room. Slow time of day does not mean slow service.
