Checked out this place when I was in the area. Good things:- Friendly Staff- Good Beer Selection- Buzztime Trivia (and a few players)- Good selection of sauce for the wingsCould improve:- Wings were a little on small side for the price. When I was sitting there a micro-brew rep came in and the owner was talking to him about getting various new brews on tap. He seemed to really care about what was being offered and I think the selection that day showed the same. Kind of an unexpected surprise for a smaller town.

My colleagues and I went to Anthony for our lunch. One of the recommended Steak and another recommended Meatball Pizza. So we end up having both of them. They are delicious. Usually I am fussy about onion but not this time. It was cooked so well that I love it. Take a look at the photo and you will surely agree with me. The service was great too.
It's our mission to provide every guest that walks through our doors with an exceptional dining experience, no matter what you order. We pour the love of food into every bite so you feel like you were a part of our growing family. Chef Mike has been in th
This place was 1/4 mile from our hotel. We wanted something close, and we were pleasantly surprised with Pete's! We originally went for pizza. After talking to the owner's wife about the food and the history the owner has in cooking, we ended up with pasta dinners instead. We were very happy.THE PLACE - Located on 222 in Shillington, PA. It's easy to get to and find and good parking. The building looks like it might have been something other than a restaurant when you first walk up to it. Inside is a small, casual seating area on one side, and a counter for placing orders on the other. The menu board was well done and tasteful. The real selling point is the presentation of the pizza pies, grilled peppers, mini stromboli's and a view into the kitchen, where items are scratch-made. Like I said before, we intended to buy pizza, but the kitchen, wonderful aromas and food made us realize this is more than just a pizza place.THE SERVICE - The owner's wife greeted us at the counter and made us feel like we were regulars there. She took time to tell us about the chef, his background and how he makes his Italian food. She answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. When we sat in the dining area, she waited on us, kept our glasses full and engaged in friendly conversation. After hearing about their cannoli, we added it to our order. Top notch.THE FOOD - We ordered cheese-filled grilled peppers that were amazing. I wish we could find these at home. The pasta dinners were delicious, and we couldn't finish the portions. The meatballs were good. We took left-overs home. I would like to have had more garlic and oregano in the sauce, and more garlic and grated parm in the meatballs, but it was a good, solid dinner that I would order again. The cannoli was fantastic and ranks with the cannoli I have had in New York City. I took 2 mini-stromboli's for breakfast and lunch for the long return trip home to Indianapolis. They were delicious.THE PRICE - appetizers, dinners, drinks, dessert, 2 mini stromboli's, tax and tip was $65. This ended up being several meals for us and a great value.I kept hearing from people in Reading that there's no good Italian food in the area. They must not have known about this place. It's run by a nice family, they make very good Italian food, and they focus on the customer. It's the dining experience we look for everywhere we go. Reading us lucky to have them.

There are two pasta dishes prepared at your table. Choose between two different cheeses. Chicken, shrimp, lobster, sausage, or meatballs can be added. Cheese is scraped from an eighty pound cheese wheel and flaming grapa is poured on it. Pasta is added and a rich, flavorful sauce is melded with the pasta. Will return here real soon.Hi Robert, it's so great to hear that you enjoyed your pasta! We appreciate the great review and value your business. Thank you for choosing Mangia! Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria. We hope to serve you again soon!

It's all in the title! We were "not hungry" and finished off two pies in about 10+ minutes. We had only cheese and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fairly fast delivery.

I went here on a recommendation of a friend. The first time I got veal park dinner. It was delicious! I had enough food for 3 meals from it. Tonight I got a cheese steak and it was one of the best I had. Now I know where to go for a good cheese steak. I am looking forward to trying more of their food.

You can score a lot of food here for a really low price, but be prepared for the grease. Everything was so greasy, we could barely eat any of it. Definitely avoid this place and spend your $5 on a frozen pizza from the grocery store.

I havenât experienced such an obvious fake call liquor purchase since I was at an all inclusive resort! We ordered Captain and Morganâs and Makers Mark, each with Diet Coke. Horrible fakes and waste of money. The food was tolerable. Thatâs the best I can say.Thank you for your feedback. This review is difficult to swallow as an owner because as a business we would never consider to offer fake liquors. That is simply not who we are. We would never want to hurt our good standing with the PLCB and reputation as a business within our community. It is quite possible that you received a flat soda product. Which would have considerably affected the taste of your call liquor. Thanks again for your feedback but I hope you understand the title of your review is simply not true.

Stopped while traveling through the area and glad we did! Excellent lunch specials, and the garlic knots are to die for. My small salad was not small! I wish I had a mama's in my town
