The staff may be a bit slow, intellectually; however, they are truly nice people that make the experience tolerable. The one problem I have is the sickness I suffer after eating here at Jioiioioios - everytime. After a long day and afternoon of drinking cheap beer in the parking lot at St. Vincents, I decided to try to drive my car to get pizza at Jioiiioios. No clue how I made it there, but I got some pizza and then ate it all. For the next day and a half I had terrible stomach pains and blood all over the hood of my pickup truck. I presume the blood was due to being sick from eating the food. It seemed like I kicked in the headlight and also spread some long blonde hairs in the grille...weird.Anyway.. do not eat here. You'll get loose stools.
I have had this place tell me they were out of beer then upon finding out I had a takeout order told me they had some in the back if I still wanted it. They have also given mixed answers to letting me add topping to menu items on my dime. Look at the other options in town...many are much better and keep the locals coming back!
Stopped here for dinner after spending the day at Idlewild Park. We ordered our food at the counter and they brought it out. We got pizza, wings and some mac n cheese bites. The food was very good. It was a thin crispy crust. I think they referred to it as Latrobe style but it is very similar to pizza from Columbus, Ohio. The wings were good to. My wife had the mac n cheese bites and really like them.
We get pizza every Friday and just found this place. Ordered a 24 cut with mushrooms and pepperoni and was not disappointed. Lots of cheese, ample toppings, and a tasty thick crust. We will surely add this place to our rotation of pizza joints! Very friendly service as well.

Friendly service and great food. Lots of choices from pizza to pasta and inexpensive lunch specials. Good size portions.

First meal here that was not up to par. Chicken Romano melted cheese looked like Cheese Wiz. Meatballs were "white"-- When asked why the meatballs were "white" response was 'usually' they were homemade but these were "not homemade." (Gee, would prefer to have known this before we ordered). Saving grace was the small takeout pizza we ended up being dinner.

From appetizers, salads, entrees through to desserts, everyone in our party enjoyed the food immensely. Steak and seafood was prepared exactly as requested. Pizza is very good. The Napoleon dessert was scrumptious. The portions are small and the prices are high, however your meal will be memorable. Thanks for the good review Chris! We are glad you enjoyed your time with us

This is by far the best thick crust pizza in town! Probably the best thick crust pizza I've had anywhere. It isn't Chicago style but homestyle and it is beyond fantastic! The pepperoni is delicious, the dough, the sauce, the cheese, it is just perfect! For awhile there it was inconsistently cooked but the last several times I've had it, it has been to die for!

Had a late lunch with my husband and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. Hubby had a cheese steak which was made with shaved PRIME RIB and I had the baked haddock dinner. Both were absolutely delicious, flavored well, and cooked to perfection. Wouldn't have thought so in a "bar" like this. Was crowded with locals and everyone seemed to know each other. It was noisy but the people were good natured and seemed very happy. Drinks were excellent. Service started out slowly but then picked up and the waitress would not look at me nor ask me how things were......she would only ask my husband LOL. I'd go back for the food.

Ive been ordering / eating from here for years, however the food is just ok, its food when you are hungry and don't wanna go anywhere else. I feel they are overpriced compared to other local places for the same thing. You cant go there without spending 20-30$ for pizza and a sub. Just OK food.
