It gets four stars. This isn't because the food is outstanding, because it's better described as good, but because it's a place you're unlikely to forget, especially if you've been a regular here throughout your student days. It's more of a favourite jumper kind of place: relaible, comforting, warm, reassuring, just there when you need it. And the furniture and decor is very mid century. It's not trying to be retro, it's authentic. And it's pretty calorific. And I've had two firsts there during my two visits during my thirty six hour stay up the road in Devon: a hoagie and a Philly cheesesteak. Now I know. They say you never forget your first time. And the food is made to order, so no prepackaged stuff.I found it by accident last night because I took a wrong turn onto highway 30. I went back, passing several more upmarket places in Devon and Wayne just to revisit. And the staff were great. Thank you.

This is a neighborhood gem! On a Friday night people were standing out in the rain waiting to get in when we left. Absolutely huge portions! The pizza and pasta was excellent. Only complaint was the red wine selection was limited.

After stepping through the front doors of Pizzi's Pizzeria, I was transported back in time 30+ years to when I was a student of Bryn Mawr College and considered Pizzi cheesesteak hoagies to be a great treat. While visiting the area recently, I made it a special point to seek out Pizzi's and share one of it's huge Cheesesteak hoagies with my cousin. I was not disappointed. The restaurant looks essentially the same, so do not expect any kind of fancy decor or amenities. The food was delicious and quickly prepared--probably using the same recipes and techniques that had made Pizzi's a college favorite 30 years ago. Also, there was a steady stream of business so it must still be popular with the locals. I was not disappointed. My cheesesteak hoagie with hot peppers, mushrooms and no onions was just as good as I remembered. Definitely worth the special trip to enjoy an old favorite.

Our family loves Crust. The food - pizza, salads, sandwiches - is very good. There is a limited menu but it is all good. The service is very good.It is a small restaurant and can get a bit crowded and noisy. It seems to be a favorite of Villanova students.

The Couch Tomato Café & bistro is your number one destination in Manayunk for gourmet pizzas & salads, known for its thin-crust NY-style pizza, as well as its large, fresh, & creative salads. Upon opening in 2003, it quickly establishing itself as the are
I always enjoy whatever I get at the cafe or the bistro. I especially like the lunch options. The food is fresh, healthy and there's always something interesting to choose from. There are some nice cocktails as well. I come a few times a year and it's always a good experience. Will be back for sure! I've also had the catering at work a few times and it's great and they always provide extra focaccia :)

Good crust, Good friendly service, " make your own" pizza with many topping choices. Easy, inexpensive lunch with really good ingredients. Not your average pizza. Well made and flavorful. Never disappointed and have tried many different combinations. Staff friendly and seem to enjoy creating these special combos. Cozy seating. Metered and free lot parking nearby. Good shopping in immediate area.

This Garrett Hill institution has been serving up pizza and steaks for as long as I can remember. I still return there when I visit Philly. While it's not my #1 choice for either pizza or steaks, it's a far sight better than the Garrett Hill food market across the street. Conestoga Style always makes their food to order and it's good, Greek-style stuff -- I especially like how they bake their cheesesteaks in the pizza oven to crisp up the roll. Yum.

Serves Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sandwiches.
Discovered this place only a few weeks ago and in two visits I had only their chicken cheesteaks and they are perhaps the best I've tasted in the Philly area, which is saying something. They give you more chunks of chicken than most places. I had the Italian chicken cheesesteak, with a lot of good tomato sauce along with the chicken and the cheese. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Booths are big and not shabby. They do a lot of takeout and it's family friendly. I usually go there after 8 p.m. and it's usually not crowded at that time. I'm going to keep going back. It's a pizza joint but, for my money, it's a four-star pizza joint.

We decided on take out and the wait was reasonable and the food quite good. The Greek wrap was tasty as was the fiesta panini. The sausage stromboli was so goodand also so huge, impossible to eat at one sitting so we also enjoyed the left overs.I thought the prices were pretty reasonable for the area. They seem to do a pretty steady business so I can only assume they provide consistently good food.Thank you for the review, Yvettetravels! We always appreciate customer feedback as it helps us to grow as a company. Hearing you enjoyed the food and received good service means we are doing the job right. We hope you will order from us again in the future! Best, Zesto Pizza and Grill Staff

Had a very nice lunch- tacos and beers - with a business associate. Service very good and staff friendly and accommodating. Tacos were crispy chicken- three on a board. I would order again! Lunch event was spoiled by an overzealous Havertown parking nazi who wrote me a ticket in an unmarked, no meter spot. Thanks Havertown..
