A wonderful eating experience. This might be a just small restaurant in a neighborhood, but it is a big time restaurant. Everything is first rate: service, food, and atmosphere. Four people made it all happen, 2 chefs and 2 waiters. Dinner ran like clockwork. We enjoyed lamb chops, eggplant rollatini and clams and linguine. All the dinners were generous portions, tasty and nicely plated.

This place has been on my âlistâ to visit. We took some family from out of town. What a great experience ! The service was great . Enjoyed all food. Portions are ample enough that you donât really need an appetizer. My only disappointment was that the upstairs isnât open during the week. Looks like a great place to go hang & drink a French martini ( on the menu- a must try).

The first U.S. Caffè from an award winning cast of Gelato artisans and coffee artisans Stefano Biasini & Michele Morelli. Come early mornings for espresso & gelato made in house. Come back for lunch to explore an extensive food and wine menu in Rittenhous
We've been back here several times since I reviewed the Gran Caffe L'Aquila in downtown Philadelphia two years ago, And when a restaurant holds it's quality over that time, it deserves a fresh review and kudos for not losing its stroke. Since my last review was extensive, no need to be repetitious. Check out the menu. But better than menu items, this place has daily themed menus and great wine pairings inspired by regions in Italy. Sicily night this time. I strongly advise you to allow the server to guide you through the regional offerings and doubt you will be disappointed. And , of course, finish with the legendary gelato. our Amaretto Gelato with cookie was creamy and delicious. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Philadelphia and for that matter, on the East Coast. We even went back for brunch on the morning after our dinner. I'd say it is high-end, price-wise, but what's not pricey at great restaurants?

I always enjoy whatever I get at the cafe or the bistro. I especially like the lunch options. The food is fresh, healthy and there's always something interesting to choose from. There are some nice cocktails as well. I come a few times a year and it's always a good experience. Will be back for sure! I've also had the catering at work a few times and it's great and they always provide extra focaccia :)

I was in Philly on business and the team found a restaurant close to our hotel. Nice quiet atmosphere, very friendly staff, and daily specials. No alcohol is offered, but you can bring your own bottle of wine. Now that expectation is out of the way. The food was outstanding! The four of us could not have been more please each of our meals, the appetizers, simply excellent! We had no room for dessert but they sounded wonderful as well.

It's an easy place to overlook - from the outside it looks like a tiny storefront restaurant without large signage or much by way of windows. I dined here in the middle of the week at an odd hour: 5:40 PM. Already there were about six tables occupied. The place is very popular with locals. I can see why. The food was quite good and the portions generous. Best of all was the friendly and polite service. A real family type of place. I can't believe I never dined here before having lived in West Philly all these years. Inside the place is much, much bigger than you could imagine: three dining rooms - and they could accommodate larger parties. Fair warning: it is BYOB, so no wine is offered. I'll be back!

My boyfriend and I have not been to Pica's for years. We went on Saturday 2/2/2019, what a pleasant surprise. The food is even better than I remembered. The service was great. Prices are very affordable. Dennis ordered the Seafood combination and I ordered Veal Marsala. Also, garlic bread. Everything was served hot and we had leftovers for the next day. Great place, we will be going back soon.
